[00:00:00] Hello, spirit led business friends. It's Azara and I am your soul centered business coach and mystical demystifier of all things esoteric and financially gainful. Welcome to the mystical business coach podcast, where I share the most impactful mystical tools to make planning and running your business more magical, more lucrative, and most importantly, more fun.
More fun. Welcome back, folks. Okay. Exciting spoiler alert. This week is so low key, astrologically. I love it. We have a mere four events to explore together, three transits and one ingression, and it's such a nice little oasis in the midst of some really tumultuous, energetic times. Next week is not going to be so kind to us.
Okay. So we're basically going to be making up for how peaceful and quiet this week is about to be. And peaceful is, relatively speaking, there's still quite a bit of intensity going on here, but just in terms of like. Low volume of things to be [00:01:00] dealing with, uh, but you'll be able to at least focus on gaining some stillness and getting your feet on the ground this week, and that will help you surf the coming waves a bit more gracefully.
so first things first, I have a special topic that I'd like to dig into this week, and it's something that I've always been completely fascinated by, which is how the days of the week relate to astral bodies. I was a total mythology kid.
My bookshelves had so many fat anthologies of Greek myths and Roman myths and Teutonic myths and West African mythology, Chinese mythology, diaspora storytelling, et cetera, et cetera. And I still remember my dad completely blowing my mind by revealing how the days of the week are named after deities that I'd been reading about, and pointing out that, you know, in classic English language fashion, some of those names come from Old Norse and Germanic gods, and some of them come from Latin.
I mean, we're, you know, we're all over the place. So [00:02:00] I would love to get us started today by going over the days of the week and digging deeper into the relationship between each day and its celestial namesake, with some pointers on how to channel that energy into aligned actions in your business.
Then we're going to get into this week's transits, which are, again, few, but mighty, uh, mighty intense. Anyways, that's right. we've got a bunch of Plutonian energy in the mix between a Pluto transit and the sun's ingression into Scorpio, which is ruled by Pluto.
And a couple other spicy transits that are probably going to challenge you this week for better or for worse, depending on what you do with that energy.
All right, days of the week. So you've probably noticed that each day of the week tends to feel a little bit different and unique. and that cadence impacts our social patterns and our personal routines and our ebbs and our flows. Uh, they all sort of follow an arc for many of us. Oftentimes that's the case, regardless of whether we're working, uh, a nine to five or on [00:03:00] vacation.
Um, you know, we're doing. 4am to noon bakery shifts through the weekend, like I used to do back in the day. You know, regardless, this cycle guides us, and it's not so much exactly what we do that it's guiding, so much as how we feel and how we're experiencing, uh, our time. And surprise, surprise, there's a really impactful astrological connection going on here.
So every day of the week is ruled by and also named after a different celestial body. And these planets energies help shape their days in subtle and also powerful ways. The rulers of specific days tend to offer us guidance, whether we're consciously aware of that or not. And when you recognize the feel of their energies and decide to honor them by going ahead and doing work to sync up your actions with those celestial rhythms, you can then ride those waves to amplify your alignment and your productivity and your overall well being.
[00:04:00] So here's a deeper look at the planets associated with each day, the energies that they tend to support, and one aligned action that you can take to honor the vibe of the day. But remember, this These are all just a jumping off point. The real growth is going to come from finding your own unique way to make use of these patterns of energy that you experience.
And plus we're going to do some bonus etymology just for funsies because English is so weird. All right. Monday is for the moon. so Monday the word originates from old English monde, fairly certain I completely murdered that pronunciation, but, you know, it is what it is. Um, and Monde translates quite simply to Moons Day.
It's a very straightforward one. , and this name is also reflected in the Latin name for Monday, which is Dies Lunae or day of the moon. So here's what to expect on moon day. Mondays are ruled by the moody and emotional moon. And so for better or for worse, Monday [00:05:00] is all about navigating your emotional landscape as tumultuous and complex as it may be at the beginning of the week.
Uh, and You know, as the moon controls the tides, it tugs on our emotional currents that connect us and flow inside us making Monday a day where you might find yourself feeling some very very deep and serious feels And this is why Monday often feels really turbulent. All of these swirling emotions usher in the start of the week, whether you're ready for it or not.
And many of us have some trouble shifting from weekend mode into work mode, especially if you're coming straight out of a really bad case of the Sunday scaries, which was historically always a huge part of my life, while I was working regular 9 to 5, corporate jobs. With your emotional sensitivity being heightened on Monday, you might find yourself feeling further drawn into your inner world, and you might feel more reactive or introspective, and that's okay. As a matter of fact, it's actually an opportunity to, Do some work to honor your [00:06:00] feelings instead of pushing them aside or shoving them down, which is a really important practice for anyone who is riding the roller coaster of independent business owning.
Along these lines, the moon can provide you with extra energy that supports intuition and nurturing, and that's of others and also of yourself. And if you can channel Luna's tendencies for self care and reflection and gentleness, then you can start the week on a really kind note, rather than ratcheting up your anxiety.
By diving headfirst into the grind with all of your feelings on full blast. Let's talk about an action to honor lunar energy on Mondays. Create space for emotional check ins and self nurturing. I recommend something, relatively simple, like implementing a no meetings policy for yourself, and for your team, if you run one.
And along those lines, back in the day, uh, when I was a manager, I made it a policy to always implement no meeting Mondays as a [00:07:00] rule to help make sure that we all had a really nice, soft re entry into the work week.
It created a sense of safety and trust on the team, and it allowed us to be so much more intentional with how we entered into what was always, you know, a very busy and intense week. I was working at startups. If you can't avoid meetings. Just try to incorporate a calming activity like breathwork or, yoga, stretching, even a short walk as a way to just ground yourself and get ready for the day to come.
Again, it's about using this day to feel your feelings, don't ignore them, but also figure out how to ground yourself emotionally as you enter into the work week. Okay. Tuesday is for Mars. Tuesday comes from Old English. Tuesday. Named after the Norse god Tyr or Tiu. And that god is the counterpart to Mars, the Roman god of war and action.
And of course, the name of the planet whose energies we work with [00:08:00] in Latin, the day is called Dias Martis, meaning day of Mars. So here's what to expect on Mars day, mars is the planet of action and drive and our get up and go. So I think of Mars as the fuel in your engine, that sort of raw combustible material that explodes at the slightest spark and just blast you forward at super high speeds.
And it goes without saying that this is, of course, incredibly useful energy for entrepreneurs, especially after that emotional wash of Monday. Tuesday is really able to bring a much needed burst of fiery, get it done energy. Mars is the warrior planet, and her influence encourages us to take bold, decisive action with courage and single mindedness.
So it's the perfect day to tackle big, hairy goals and confront challenges head on and make some serious moves that require a lot of bravery and fortitude and assertiveness. So if you've been feeling kind of stuck or hesitant, especially again coming out of Monday, Tuesday [00:09:00] is the day to kick things into high gear and take control.
You do need to be a little bit careful with Martian energy though, always, because Mars isn't really one for dotting I's and crossing T's. So just make sure you have a plan in place to, uh, to review or edit everything that you create on an especially wild and active Tuesday. And you can go ahead and borrow some of Mercury's energy for that coming up on Wednesday, which is of course perfect timing.
You might also find yourself blasting forward in the wrong direction if you weren't careful enough to point yourself towards, you know, your actual goals when you were getting things started on Tuesday morning. So just do your best to put some planning into place, a little bit of, you know, structure before Tuesday hits so that you can really channel all that vibrant energy into checking the right to dos off of your list.
Here's your action to honor Martian energy on Tuesday. Use it to tackle your most pressing or ambitious tasks. This is the day to push forward on [00:10:00] projects that need extra drive and even, leadership potentially. Question for you, have you been putting off sending a really high potential sales email to a prospective client because it's just something you're uncomfortable with, you don't like asking for the sale, or maybe you've been avoiding a really tough conversation.
Let Or a necessary confrontation, which is, you know, an inherent part of being a business owner. Have you been procrastinating on launching your new offering because you're just feeling a little bit, you know, shy about it and vulnerable? This is all completely understandable, because these tasks take a ton of emotional fortitude.
Monday ain't it! Okay, uh, unless you're a very special kind of person, Monday is not the day to put yourself in a situation where you're having to do these kinds of things, but Tuesday is a much better bet for being able to take action and see it all through. Don't be afraid to take risks on Tuesday because Mars rewards courage.
Just make sure that the risks are at least somewhat calculated. Wednesday [00:11:00] is for Mercury. Wednesday comes from Old English wotan's dig, named after Wotan, or Wotan as I learned it growing up, also known as Odin, Wednesday, Wotan's day, you can hear the relationship there. Wotan shares characteristics with Mercury, the Roman god of communication and travel and intellect.
And the Latin name for the day is Dies Mercury. Meaning, of course, Day of Mercury. So here's what to expect on Mercury's Day. Mercury is the planet of communication. As I just mentioned, intellect, quick thinking, and it makes the middle of the week a really excellent time to focus on the fiddlier tasks we face in our business.
I just mentioned that, you know, coming out of Monday, we're feeling a little bit emotionally vulnerable. We get into Tuesday and we're really fiery and energetic, but we're not. It's not at any of those points, uh, detail oriented whatsoever. So on Wednesday, you might need to take some time to look back on [00:12:00] what you worked on earlier in the week and just make sure it's right.
Make sure it looks good. Make sure it makes sense. Make sure it's not too emotional, or, too fiery. You know, it's a day for level headed thinking.
It's also excellent for clear conversations and communication, right, as well as problem solving in our businesses and intellectual pursuits that have a really specific goal in mind. So if you're scrutinizing the details of a contract or agreement, if you're hard editing some copy, tying up loose ends, drafting and scheduling email sequences, getting down with some logistics, diving into your systems to tinker and repair, Wednesday's Energy is all about that.
It's here to support you. Mercury's influence helps us think on our feet, so expect mental clarity and productive problem solving as you're dealing with all these fussy, high focus tasks.
Mercury also helps with client communication and messaging, So take to your primary marketing platform and get the word out about your upcoming product [00:13:00] launches or a useful concept that you want to share with your audience, whatever the case may be.
You're also extra supported in pulling off productive client meetings and coaching sessions, and you're really supported in delivery of excellent results as a coach or a consultant or any other type of service provider. And finally, Mercury loves data collection and analysis. So Wednesday is perfect for circulating or preparing to circulate, polls or surveys to collect useful data.
And also for holding one on one interviews or small scale focus groups that help you better shape your product delivery and your marketing to support your best online clients. So Wednesday is for market research. Here's an action that you can take to honor mercurial energy. So Wednesday is again ideal for meetings and client calls and tasks that require in the moment precision and focus and clarity of communication.
So if you have any of those communication heavy tasks or even networking [00:14:00] opportunities on your plate, schedule them for Wednesday when Mercury's influence makes it a lot easier to express yourself clearly and with focus of purpose. So you can just easily use this day to also, you know, resolve lingering issues with your systems and your workflow.
It's very generally useful, productive energy. You can focus on sharing your ideas again on your platform, engaging collaborative projects that require, you know, juggling of and balancing of multiple perspectives, anything like that, uh, it's just really, really wonderful anchoring energy for the middle of the week for you to really be able to dig in and get some focus work done in a detail oriented way.
Thursday is for Jupiter. Thursday comes from Old English, I'm not even going to try it, Þūnresdæg Þūnresdæg named after Thor. The Norse god of thunder who parallels Jupiter, the Roman king of the gods. In Latin, this day is called Dies Iovis, or Day of [00:15:00] Jupiter. And you can hear the relation to Jove and Jovian there, as in by Jove, which literally means by Jupiter.
I always think it's so cool that Victorian English people were regularly swearing oaths to Jupiter. Like that's pretty awesome. So here's what to expect on Jupiter Day. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and wisdom and abundance, and, As such, Thursday is one of my absolute favorite days of the week because it officially marks the moment that my shoulders start to relax after a very emotional Monday and a furious Tuesday and a hyper focused Wednesday.
The top of the week is quite exhausting. Thursday, on the other hand, is the day for big thinking and horizon expansion and personal growth and growth in your business as well. It's a day to indulge in envisioning where you want your business to be in the future and the life that that's going to make possible for you.
It's a day to say [00:16:00] yes to shiny new opportunities and to make long term plans, strike up partnerships, launch initiatives that require vision and optimism. And it's all with the goal to grow your business and scale your revenue. As our solar system seeker of knowledge, Jupiter makes Thursday perfect for expanding both your knowledge base and making productive adjustments to, some of the more maybe limited aspects of your mindset.
And I'm talking about limitations in terms of prejudices and internalized BS that basically creates self imposed limitations that harm your ability to run and grow your business.
And another thing, are you also in possession of a trove of online trainings that are likely super useful, but you just haven't set aside the time to dig in? You're in excellent company, and Thursday wants you to get into it, right? Get into that, that learning, take advantage of that knowledge that you have at your fingertips. Are you potentially overdue for a meeting with your coach or your mentor? [00:17:00] Jupiter is calling you to go after that support and inspiration that you know is just a few emails and a phone call away. Thursday is a wonderful day to do that outreach or actually Schedule the meeting itself. Jupiter also encourages us to step into our roles as, uh, thought leaders and mentors ourselves, expanding not just our own horizons, but also the ability to help others expand their own. Thursday is absolutely flush with this sage energy, and it urges us to support peers and clients with our hard won advice and expertise, especially if we've been in the game for a while, there are a lot of people out there who would benefit from your knowledge.
Here's an action to honor Jovian energy. Focus on big picture projects. Thursday is your day for business expansion, whether that's saying yes to a partnership with a like minded entrepreneur or even a friend, teaching a group class or hosting some kind of educational webinar, tinkering with your long term business strategy. [00:18:00] Consider sharing messaging about your products, participating in a panel, or even engaging in community building on your primary marketing platform. And you can also dedicate the entire day to getting started learning a skill you know you need in order to take your business to the next level.
So get into that dusty archive of resources sitting in the corner of your computer. I know you've just been waiting on that for ages. Get into it. All right. Lovely Friday is for lovely Venus. Friday is derived from Old English Frigidaeg, named after Frigg, the Norse goddess of love and fertility, and also known as Freyja as in Freya Day, Friday. Freya Day. Freya is related to none other than Venus, and the Latin name for Friday is deis veneris, meaning Day of Venus. So here's what to expect on Venus Day. Venus is, of course, the planet of love and beauty, pleasure, uh, [00:19:00] social connections, like deep, authentic connection.
And she rules over what is arguably the best day of the work week, Friday. Friday is all about feeling good and finding ways to experience joy where you can, whether it's at the work that you choose to do, or maybe in avoiding the work that you choose not to do the end of the week is dominated by our two rulers of fun and good times, Jupiter and Venus. When these two get together, Jupiter's expansive energy grows our desire to seek out Venusian pleasures and indulgence.
And of course, this can lead to procrastination and playing hooky and really just kind of generally letting things go off the rails as you head into the weekend. And I'm not necessarily saying that's a bad thing, right? This is what the energy. positions us to do. So rather than fighting it, it might make sense to kind of listen and lean in.
After a busy week, Venus entices you into slowing down and savoring the good things in life, even if you're still on the clock. Friday is perfect for creative [00:20:00] work, especially if that's your favorite part of your job. Think about it. A whole day set aside for quiet writing, a morning spent surprising and delighting your clients with some unexpected outreach, an extra long lunch for some relaxed networking and hanging out.
Venus's influence over Friday is why we feel that kind of sliding into the weekend vibe. And even if you don't take weekends off because of your schedule, it's impossible to miss the sweetness of Friday's energy. Here's an action that you can take to honor Venusian energy on Friday. Because of the end of the week's highly distractible vibes, it can be best to save your favorite tasks and the juiciest projects you have until Thursday and especially Friday.
Venus's Day is great for fostering really deep connections through bonding experiences and doing the parts of your work that really light you up. So schedule a long lunch with a special client or BFF colleague, catch up with your team, or engage in that creative work that doesn't feel like a total thankless grind again.
That's [00:21:00] Wednesday's job, thankless grind Wednesday, even Tuesday. So maybe you love the spotlight and if that's the case, use this time to connect with your social media followers or draft and send out an email update. Maybe you like fiddling around in your databases or finessing new strategies like I do.
If that's the case, give yourself a big chunk of time on Friday to really get in there. Regardless, you should consider treating yourself to a well deserved reward for the work that you've done during the week. Friday is a day for indulgence, especially after you've clocked out. Saturday is for Saturn, interestingly enough, Saturday is from old English, Saturn is tag named after Saturn, the Roman God of discipline, time and structure, the Latin name is deus Saturni or day of Saturn. Fun fact.
Saturn has two adjectives associated with him that have almost opposite meanings. Saturnian, which means prosperous, [00:22:00] happy, peaceful, and abundant, and relates to the harvest and other awesome stuff, versus Saturnine, which means gloomy and moody and grumpy. This duality is related to the fact that Saturn is a deity born out of a melding of several dualities.
Disparate entities from different cultures who represented very different things, but happened to have a similar sounding name. So they became conflated over time. And I love how complex Saturn becomes because of this as an astrological figure. So one of the reasons why I'm obsessed with Saturn. Another of those reasons is that Saturn rules Saturday, which is hands down, obviously, the best day of the week.
So here's what to expect on Saturn day. Saturday is often associated with, time off and fun. So it can feel like a contradiction that What many no doubt see as the best day of the week for enjoyment and relaxation is ruled over by our celestial landscape's biggest buzzkill. Saturn is the planet that rules structure, discipline, and [00:23:00] boundaries, so it's easy to think of her as the workhorse planet, but this is actually a total misread of Saturn's energies.
Boundaries are important across the board, whether you're protecting work time or your rest time. So Saturn's influence is important to tune into, if the hard work you're doing on her day is recovering from a busy week. Saturn rules legacy, and as such, Saturn's energy encourages you to make choices on Saturday that support your future goals.
And this can mean focusing on physical wellness, optimizing workflows if you're doing work, planning out your next quarter of marketing campaigns, or Doing what may be the very hardest thing of all, especially if you're juggling work with caregiving or living with a mental health disorder or neuro spiciness, the hardest thing is scheduling time for yourself to do something for you.
This is the day to let your mind rest so that you can better connect the dots and reflect on your systems. It's a day to engage in deep personal growth or legacy [00:24:00] building work, even if that means protecting your time.
And eating a croissant at a cafe, whatever, whatever you need. So here's an action to take to honor Saturnian energy. Honor your boundaries. So this is a great day to say no. Or fortify structures in your business. If, uh, if you're taking Saturday as a work day, and this can be as simple as organizing your workspace, whether that's your physical workspace, like your office or your digital workspace, or taking yourself out for a nice coffee.
Again, you know, whatever gives you a little bit of space to reflect and relax. If you are on the clock. You can do your work with a focus on sustainability. Just be sure not to let yourself burn out. And if you have the day off, use the time to engage in hobbies or rest, which are of course, equally important parts of Saturn's long haul energy.
Sunday is for the sun. Sunday, is perhaps the most straightforward of all of the etymologies, for the days of the week. It comes from the [00:25:00] old English sunnedeg, which means sun's day. And the Latin version of this is dia solis or day of the sun. Very straightforward here. Um, so what to expect on Sunday?
The sun rules vitality and motivation and will, making Sunday a day of really warm, awesome, vibey energy that makes almost any activity you pursue more pleasant. The sun's radiance is quite literally life giving, And its illuminating energy supports our ability to move through the world with intention.
It's Mars like, in a sense, providing us with fuel that really helps us go. But the sun isn't about raw, unbridled energy in that same way. It's more gentle. It shines a light for us, illuminating what makes us unique, and coaxing out the radiance that comes from self love and acceptance. The sun rules your glow.
Which is your self expression, your unique creativity, your confidence, and of course your clarity of vision. His light illuminates your whole self, [00:26:00] including parts of you that you tend to keep shrouded in the shadows. Sunday is a day to completely banish uncertainty and exist as your whole self, in total celebration of the beauty of living your truth, in spite of all of the very many oppressive forces that are pushing against you constantly to obscure those special things that make you, you.
The sun grants you freedom to release your inner child and your it's all about me energy, which we should all indulge in sundays are ideal for resting, reflecting and preparing for the week ahead if you have the day off and for working on your most vision aligned projects.
If you're on the clock.
And of course, either way, for authentic sharing of the self with those you love. Here's an action to take to honor solar energy. So use Sunday to relax and reflect to the best of your abilities and bask in the sun's warm energy. And whether you like to spend your free time outdoors or reading on a comfy couch or [00:27:00] catching up on your shows or hanging out with your friends or family, This is the time to unwind and recharge.
Sunday's energy is especially supportive of expressive projects like making art and performing, and crafting activities that fill your cup and help you share your light with the world. It's also a great day to do any light planning or intention setting for the week ahead, especially if you're working.
But even if you're not, let the sun's energy help you reset and realign with your purpose and a word to the wise. Watch out for the Sunday scaries. As we start to edge towards Monday, you might start to feel the moon's influence stirring up your emotions, especially anxiety. And if you do have a tendency to get anxious about the coming week, try to re ground yourself by making a quick plan so your week feels more manageable.
Uh, you know, you can take some things off your plate for Monday so you know that you'll be able to get it all done without stressing yourself out. Or, Just ask for help if your dread is stemming from real overwhelm or a feeling that you're facing an impossible mountain [00:28:00] of things to do as the work week kicks up.
Okay, so in conclusion, each day of the week carries its own planetary influence, and it offers us opportunities to align our actions with the cosmic flow, nurturing your emotions on Moon Ruled Monday, building connections on Venus Ruled Friday, protecting your legacy on Saturn's Saturday, syncing your schedule and your actions And your focus with these celestial rhythms can really enhance your sense of balance and purpose and productivity. Remember, the universe isn't some distant entity, right? It's, it's woven around us and through us and it's flows of energy can help guide and support you on as basic a level as your day to day as you go about navigating your work week.
Okay, let's get into some transits. Again, we've only got four events going on this week, but they are a lot. So heed my advice and make sure you're being [00:29:00] ultra kind to yourself this week. Let's jump in. Okay. So, do you love strategy? Yay! I do. And if you do too, you're in for an absolute treat at the beginning of the week.
On Monday, October 21st at 11. 35pm Pacific, so that's Tuesday, October 22nd at 2. 35am Pacific. Uh, Eastern time, our fiddliest planet is aspecting our fussiest planet. So that's a Mercury Saturn transit and rejoice, it's a trine with Mercury at 13 degrees and 12 minutes of Scorpio and Saturn at 13 degrees and 12 minutes of Pisces.
It's a water trine. They all seem to be water trines lately. Three of the past five trines have all been water trines. And what's even more hardcore is that five of the past seven trines will have been water trines once this one hits exactitude.
So that's a lot of really vibey water energy. And that's not all. By the [00:30:00] time we get into early November, eight of the previous ten trines will have been water trines. The other two were air trines that happened earlier on. And this is happening because Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune are all going to be in water signs for at least part of the month of October, spilling over a few days into September and into November.
This energy is Completely bathing us in supportive energy in the realms of creativity, connection, emotion, psychic energy, and flow. It's really lovely. Okay, so Mercury, Trine, Saturn. Let's get into it. Mercury is the planetary energy that guides our thoughts. It's our busy little furiously thinking self.
I called them a fiddly planet earlier, and what I mean by that is that Mercury is constantly dealing with and handling what's right in front of them. Mercury is a personal planet. So they deal with issues and energies that are more quotidian. Right, like a day to day type of energy, checking off their [00:31:00] tasks and engaging in a little internal dialogue, coming up with some strategies and fixes for issues that you encounter on the reg as you're hustling through your day.
It's fiddly, it's always asking, what can I do that's right in front of me? Saturn has a similarly busy kind of approach to getting shit done, but Saturn is also an outer planet, a massive expansive gas giant, little Mercury's very terrestrial nature. Saturn is a social planet and deals with bigger concepts, more extensive planning, and a much higher level view, moving from Mercury's hyper focus on the task at hand to scope all the way out to orchestrating massive systems of moving parts.
When these two beasts of productivity come together in a mutually supportive way, the result can be a little surprising for a trine, which we usually think of as a totally feel good and chill kind of vibe, which is to say you can actually find yourself feeling extra serious under this transit. Your brain is on point.
Your attention to detail is absolutely through the [00:32:00] roof, and you might just find yourself really ready to get down to business, which is, of course, excellent Tuesday energy, thanks to Tuesday being the day of Martian get shit done motivation.
You're going to be very methodical. on Tuesday. Really good at getting organized in ways that better support your efficiency, where every single action you take is positioned to be impactful and fully aligned with your goals, which is, of course, exactly what we want, especially at the beginning of the week.
You may not be feeling very creative which is fine, you know, and in fact you could find yourself tending to stick to what you know and to what works, and that can be great if you have some reliable methods that you want to keep using or you're drawing from previous successes to feel as certain as possible that what you're working on is actually going to work, but just be aware that inflexibility can also be a a huge detriment, especially if it prevents you from being able to innovate in ways that could be, you know, a little risky, sure, but that could also result in even better results.[00:33:00]
Try not to let your practicality get in the way of recognizing when a really, truly good idea hits. Wow, I relate to this transit so much. I am super creative or whatever, but it's always effort. And it always involves pushing myself a little bit. I think that's pretty normal. Most of us need to make at least somewhat of a concerted effort to relax and be open.
And I'm, you know, I'm a fairly tightly wound person. So when a frankly, uh, anti social transit comes along, honestly, I tend to lean into it. You might find yourself not really wanting to hang out with other people on Tuesday. You might decide to spend some time cloistering yourself off and, uh, you know, Getting your focus on, and that's totally okay.
Lean into these energies and let them be what they are. And this way, later on in the week, when all you really want to do is hang out, you'll have gotten so much focus work done that you'll feel okay to just loosen things up a little bit.
Your business action for this transit it's to get into some tasks that involve rigorous attention to detail. I'm [00:34:00] thinking building out products and marketing sequences in your platform. In case you haven't done this yet, I want you to know that creating the content in your online products is literally only half the battle.
Getting that shit done. On to the internet is actually really intense, especially if you're doing your due diligence and building out a system of supportive automations and triggers that do things like start a series of emails, reminding a prospective client that they have access to a special discount or tagging somebody who's purchased a consultation with you, but who hasn't really booked their meeting with you yet so that you can periodically reach out to that whole segment of your audience with a little nudge for them to actually follow through on what they paid for.
Uh, those are just two examples of an actual. million different elements that you can build into your customer's journey as they move through your product and marketing ecosystem. And it's a lot. It's, it's really fiddly and setting it all up, right, takes some serious focus. even if it's all being facilitated by, you know, one of these user friendly platforms like Kajabi, which I use [00:35:00] or ConvertKit, those kinds of things.
So, They make it easier, but it's still, it's still work. So make use of this hyper focused Mercury Saturn energy to get through a lot of that complex setup. If you're at a place with a piece of your content that you can really start to like build that stuff out. At the very least, create a careful map that takes account of every element and that'll act as a checklist further down the line when you are actually getting everything together.
All right, coming up a little later on Tuesday at 7 15 a. m. Pacific, 10 15 a. m. Eastern. The sun is going to form a challenging square with Pluto, where the sun is at 29 degrees and 40 minutes of Libra, getting ready to slide into Scorpio foreshadowing.
And Pluto is at the same degrees of Capricorn. When astral bodies are at 29 degrees of a sign, we call that the aneretic degree. And it amplifies the intensity of the zodiacal sign the planet is passing through. So this transit is very extra. Essentially, our solar system's most central [00:36:00] element, The Sun, who rules our will and self expression and attention, squares off against our solar system's most distant element, Pluto, who rules death, transformation, and intensity.
When the Sun and Pluto get into a confrontation, your will is in conflict with the gigantic forces of metamorphosis and epic change. This is extra intense for us right now because a mere month ago, These two astral powerhouses formed a really beautiful harmonious trine where we felt super aligned between ourselves and transformation, helping us begin to step into a new iteration of ourselves.
And now we're facing a conflict between these energies, and I'm not going to lie to you, it's probably going to suck, especially if it's hitting your chart funny. Squares are always a challenge in one way or another, but this one almost has opposition vibes in how it creates a push pull energy between your most intimate self and your most ambitious vision for who you will become.
This challenge is a test. You're going to experience some conflict [00:37:00] and or discomfort on Tuesday that's highly likely to reveal some stuff that just isn't working things uncomfortably close to who you are that just are not serving you. Unlike under a Sun Pluto trine, where shedding these incongruencies is easier and a more carefree activity, under a square, you're really experiencing how hard and frustrating it can be to realize that one of your behaviors, habits, or even internalized beliefs is completely out of sync with what you're trying to become, and that you might have to experience incredibly deep discomfort as you go through the process of letting it go.
This transit is for shadow work. I know, I know, shadow work is super hard. Confronting the parts of yourself that are actively harming you, and the touchy process of actually rooting them out, and by doing so, fundamentally changing as a person. It is so uncomfortable, and it's an incredibly important process for those of us business [00:38:00] owners, whose society hasn't been grooming this whole time, to be able to freely step into our power completely unfazed.
Like, have you ever worked with or for someone who didn't question their validity or brilliance literally whatsoever?
Was that person a white cis het man? Probably from a comfortably affluent family background. Likely, right? Uh, I once watched a CEO build up a unicorn startup. That's a startup That winds up with a valuation of a billion dollars or more. And he built that up over a period of a couple of years through having some really awesome ideas and hiring really, really thoughtfully.
And then he completely tanked the company by not doing a great job of listening to the incredible brain trust that he'd assembled in the first place. And he walked out of that situation with his ego fully intact. I mean, I obviously can't see into his brain, but that's really what it looked like. And that's normal for people whose society has made clear that no matter what, they're going to be okay.
And even [00:39:00] celebrated. By the time most founders hit pay dirt, they've already suffered a number of massive failures that quite honestly would undo most of us who've been groomed to expect our own failure. These founders are totally unshaken in their sense of self worth, even as their businesses are crashing and burning around them.
It's wild to watch that happen in real time. And the frustrating part is that over time I went from scoffing and rolling my eyes at that energy to seeing it as an incredible gift granted to just a lucky few of us. I don't want those people to be crushed by their failures like the rest of us are. I want the rest of us to be able to step into that power too.
And what's the best way to deprogram all that crap in our minds that keeps us from living that life? Fucking shadow work. And I'm obviously not saying that white cishet men who literally cannot fathom their own fallibility are goals in any way. A lot of the time, they're ultimately undone by their own hubris.
Tale as old as time, right? They [00:40:00] definitely have some shadow work to do. And unfortunately for them, they are incredibly unlikely to do it because they are fully unaware that their shadows even exist. It's a mindset I literally cannot relate to whatsoever, but that unwavering dedication to their own brilliance is honestly something I wish for myself and for all of us, and I'm actively pursuing it as should you be.
All right. Another thing to know about this transit is that the sun and Pluto together have a tendency to break your carefully lain systems, which can be business systems. But more often than not, we're talking about the systems you use to justify and validate your beliefs, whether all of your beliefs deserve validation or not.
The sun in Libra is extra concerned with balance and social equality. And Pluto in Capricorn is focused on equity. Epic, revolutionary changes to systems and processes. So this is an extra revolutionary and beautifully leftist energy that can really force you to look at where you're still holding onto fucked up prejudice that you absorbed [00:41:00] probably as a kid and just haven't faced up to yet, especially those internalized beliefs about your own identity that makes it so hard to believe or accept that you can be a boss, a change maker.
And a person who has an outsized impact that changes the world for the better. Or that someone like you deserves safety and love and comfort and money and pleasure. That's where you need to get in order to fully step into your power. Like a white CEO blithely subjecting the world to his ideas with all the self security of a person who's never heard a real no in his entire life.
Along those lines, the Sun plus Pluto equation can also look like your will amplifying a desire for power or an accumulation of resources. You know, same diff on a certain level. And you may end up either dealing with someone who's abusing their power this week, or with your own temptation to manipulate someone or a situation to better suit your needs when you know it's [00:42:00] not the right thing to do.
So watch out for that dynamic and don't hesitate to channel some of that no nonsense Mercury Saturn trine energy to nip it in the bud if you feel that someone's kind of trying to tug at your strings. So this transit is a toughie. The upside is that if you can successfully navigate this square and come out the other end, having courageously faced some shadow part of yourself that's slowing your roll, you're going to feel amazing and powerful
and like you can do anything, which you can. so let's talk action. If you're feeling called out by everything I just said describing the energy of the square, same, honestly, then you need to work out some of your shadows. One of the best ways that you can do this is to actually talk about it with someone you trust, like a coach or a mentor, or ideally a therapist who you can really trust to hold space for the important work that you're doing and not judge you for it, which you don't deserve at all.
Remember that we're all holding internalized views that are completely unfair and ridiculous. [00:43:00] And. You likely always will, because that's part of being a human in a society that more broadly holds completely unfair and ridiculous views. Healing is a process. It's not an achievable final state, and that's okay.
So this transit can feel a little squishy in terms of concrete actions. It's the opposite of super practical Mercury and Saturn urging you to focus on your work work. Pluto wants you to recognize that some of the most important work you do in shoring up your business is internal.
transformative work that actually changes how you think, which impacts how you act, which shapes how your business grows and thrives and makes the world better. It starts from within. Okay. And with that coming up on Tuesday evening at 3 14 p. m. Pacific. 614 p. m. Eastern. It's officially Scorpio season as the sun makes her way out of balanced, harmonious Libra into the zodiacal sign that represents deep, crackling [00:44:00] intensity.
Are you ready? I'm not really, but let's go. Scorpio is Plutonian. It's the zodiacal sign of transformation. And what better moment to experience this core shift of our sun into the Plutonian sign, then right on the heels of a Sun Pluto square. I mean, the mirroring here is noteworthy.
Uh, so that square is really going to be squarin Very hard on Tuesday. I'm not going to get too deep into the Sun and Scorpio since we literally just discussed the basics of the dynamics between the The Sun and Pluto, which has a lot of the same vibe, but let's just take a moment to think about how to draw on the strengths of the Sun in Scorpio to make it through this square.
The sun in Scorpio promotes energies of protection of others. It's very water sign, almost cancerian, and that's really beautiful. Your instinct to viciously protect others can really help you root out your own beliefs that prompt you to take actions that do more harm. The Sun in Scorpio also supports empowerment [00:45:00] through psychic and emotional revelation and really deep, beautiful passion.
And these are all key ingredients in positioning yourself to both uncover and then confront a crappy mindset. So lean into these supports as you face your shadows this week. And with that, we're already at our final event of the week. It's a sparky, absolutely explosive sextile between Mars and Uranus that's taking place on Thursday at 5.
13pm Pacific and 8. 13pm Eastern, with Mars at 26 degrees and 10 minutes of Cancer, and Uranus at the same degrees of Taurus. We've already talked quite a bit by now over the past two weeks. handful of weeks at least, about how off their game both Mars and Uranus are when they're in these particular signs.
With Mars in her fall, and Uranus in detriment. This softens Mars's usually wild energy and adds a crankiness to the mix. And twitchy Uranus is unusually grounded in the earthiest earth sign of Taurus, who brings steadiness and [00:46:00] dependability to the table. These two planets are forming a sextile.
which is awesome. Uh, and the beginning of the week was of course a bit fraught with the least fun possible trine you can experience, which takes place between Mercury and Saturn. And then that sun Pluto square, which is amplified over the top by the sun's ingression into Scorpio. It's a lot so lucky for us we get to round out the week with a big blast of supportive energy that deeply assists us in any efforts we may have uncovered the need for when it comes to making significant lasting changes to mindset and behaviors thanks to the sun and Pluto being super intense together.
Mars is the planet of drive and action and Uranus rules revolutionary kick assery and explosions. So in essence, we've got our musculature working in tandem with our nervous systems to spark some serious motivation to make big change. So let's talk actions here. You can channel this energy into eviscerating shitty self imposed limitations completely.
And you can [00:47:00] also use it to perform a massive overhaul of a broken system or part of your workflow that is quite simply not doing what it needs to do. But be wary that this double blast of energy from our angriest planet and our most anxious planet can turn really ugly if you have anything on your schedule that requires composure or discipline.
You can find yourself being very impulsive, confrontational, and even unreliable when Mars and Uranus come together, even when they're forming a supportive aspect.
So just keep an eye out so you don't end up screwing yourself over or somebody else under this transit. If at all possible, you're going to want to schedule anything that requires discipline for earlier in the week when Mercury and Saturn can really help you take care of it.
And leave the end of the week for things like shaking up your routine in a big way, playing around with a new approach to a stagnating process, and kicking over some trash cans so you can stomp around blasting punk music.
Alright, that's it, my dear colleagues. Short and sweet this week, or maybe, you know, short and intense. [00:48:00] Short and spicy. Here's a quick recap. On Tuesday, Mercury trines Saturn for our most serious possible trine. Get your focus on and schedule activities that require intense attention to detail. Then the sun squares Pluto and challenges us to face our shadows.
Lean into the supportive aspects of the sun shifting into protective and passionate Scorpio to aid yourself in confronting your most problematic prejudices and self limiting beliefs. And finally, on Thursday, Mars sextiles Uranus for a massive blast of revolutionary, radical, Somewhat erratic energy.
