[00:00:00] Hello, spirit led business friends, it's Azara and I am your soul centered business coach and mystical demystifier of all things esoteric and financially gainful. Welcome to the mystical business coach podcast, where I share the most impactful mystical tools to make planning and running your business more magical, more lucrative, and most importantly, more fun.
Okay. Welcome back, y'all. It's good to have you here. This week, we're getting nice and cozy with none other than Venus, our Chief Relationship Officer and Cosmic Queen of Value, Charm, and Abundance. Venus is lighting up the sky with some super powerful transits this week.
She's going to be dancing around every single one of our three outermost planets, and her influence is overwhelming. So if you've been struggling with anything like pricing or confidence, relationships, or even just connecting with the joy in your work, [00:01:00] this is the episode, uh, and also the week for you.
Venus is here to remind you that you deserve abundance in all its very many beautiful forms and that your business should feel as fulfilling as it is successful. We'll get started. By going through a high level overview of what Venus does in your business. And then I'll break down each of the major transits this week, plus a super juicy full moon in Aries, that's really going to shake things up.
So buckle up and get ready to infuse your work with that radiant Venusian glow. All right. Let's talk about a key player on your cosmic board of mystical advisors. And trust me, she's one you definitely want to get familiar with. Venus. Uh, Venus is what I like to call your chief relationship officer, and her role is all about value, and attraction, and relationships.
I see her as sitting on the same side of the table as Mercury, Who's your communication specialist and the two of them form a super badass marketing [00:02:00] team. Venus's role in attraction is no joke. She knows how to bring people together and get things flowing and sparking and make sure your business has that extra aesthetic sparkle and glow that really magnetizes clients and customers and collaborators and partners and you know, everybody right into your orbit.
Venus governs the energy of value. So that's how you value yourself, your work, how you value your business. And yes, it also includes how other people value what you're offering. She's the cosmic queen of worth in its many formats.
And if you find yourself struggling with pricing and underestimating how much your time and services are actually worth, Venus is who you need to go to and consult with.
She's here to remind you that your work is beautiful and it is valuable and it is meant to be appreciated. And she's definitely not here for any of that kind of, I'll just charge a little bit less sort of nonsense. Venus will absolutely call you out on undervaluing yourself [00:03:00] or your business.
And trust me, she's going to do it with a sharp edge wrapped in velvet because that's what she does. That's just her style. She's gentle, but firm when she's really in the zone. And we should also talk about Venus's role as the planet of relationships.
This is a really big one for entrepreneurs because Venus governs not only romantic or personal relationships, which is usually what we hear about when we're looking at magazines or whatever, but also business connections. That are absolutely critical to your success. So that includes your relationships with your clients and your collaborators, your contractors, uh, and of course with your audience.
Essentially, Venus facilitates your relationship with anyone you engage with in the course of doing your business. Venus helps you foster more meaningful and mutually beneficial connections that can add tons of depth and value to your work. She brings the charm and the social grace that help you negotiate and collaborate and navigate the most interpersonal [00:04:00] elements of your business with ease.
And style, but don't get it twisted. While Venus is all about attraction and pulling things in. She's also fiercely protective of your boundaries. She's like the benevolent goddess who's going to make sure you're in the spotlight, but only if the light is warm and generous and nurturing to your spirit and never if it's overly harsh or it's going to burn you out.
Venus also rules pleasure and abundance. So let me tell you, those are. essential ingredients to bring into your business and are largely undervalued and overlooked, which actually makes a lot of sense. Um, shit's hard. Right? Running a business is really, really tough. And the idea of making time or space for your pleasure can almost feel like an affront to all the really hard work that you're putting into it.
But pleasure in abundance, you know, that doesn't just mean mindlessly pampering yourself with piles of luxury goods as you recline on your bed, you [00:05:00] know, although those things can absolutely be a part of it if that works for you. But in the context of entrepreneurship. Venus's energy asks you to infuse your work itself with joy and creativity and fulfillment.
After all, you're running a heartled business, right? Venus is the one making sure that your work, not only sustains you financially, but also nourishes your soul. She's the planet that taps you on your sagging shoulders, because goodness knows you're tired.
I am too. Uh, to say, Hey, you're allowed to love your work and enjoy the fruits of your labor. That's allowed. It's necessary. In fact, so don't shy away from creating a business that feels ultra luxurious to you, even if that luxury is as simple as building a workflow that involves mornings on a couch in your super soft PJs with noise canceling headphones on to support your autistic need for physical comfort, like me.
Sometimes I need that in the morning so that I can [00:06:00] be much more productive further along in the day. I'm not one of those people where dressing in business attire makes me feel more confident or accomplished or productive. That's just not really my vibe. I wear metal shirts and I do best when there aren't any itchy tags or.
uncomfortable seams, uh, touching my skin. Um, so it's really about what works for you. your version of luxury might look like taking an hour long walk every single morning because it gives your mind time to wander. The luxury of time and allocating that time to where you need it most to keep you rested and hopeful and mentally expansive, uh, that should not be discounted.
It's really important. One of the core lessons Venus brings to the table is that self worth drives your business's worth. Valuing yourself has a direct impact on how much value you're able to provide within and also to derive from your business. And yes, [00:07:00] that includes money. If you're constantly devaluing your own offerings or sacrificing your need for sleep or exercise or just a fucking break every once in a while for the sake of your business, then Venus in her full power has no trouble checking you.
She'll step in and tell you to knock it off. Uh, her energy is here to help you embrace abundance financially, socially, creatively, and at the same time to remind you that you deserve all the good things that are coming your way. Yes, you do. You deserve them. And so, so much more. When Venus is at her best in your business, you're not just working.
You're actively thriving, you're building something beautiful and feeling really good about it, attracting aligned clients, getting paid what you're worth without second guessing yourself at all. That's the Venus way, and I'm 100 percent here for it. And when it comes to her interactions with other cosmic advisors, Venus oftentimes brings that little extra bit of magic , that makes sure that things [00:08:00] flow harmoniously, which we'll dive into a little bit more deeply as we go through this week's extremely Venusian transits.
So take Venus and Neptune, for example, when those two collaborate, you oftentimes get aligned vision of Neptune coupled with Venus's ability to tap into what you need need in to make those dreams a reality. Which is mostly you committing to taking aligned actions, right?
Venus helps you refine your goals and align them with your values on a really fundamental day to day level. and that ensures that your dreams aren't just big, they're also sustainable and achievable truly your own. when Venus and Uranus come together, that's when you get that rebellious electric energy that urges you to shake things up in your business.
But Venus here helps to bring some balance, honoring what you value while still leaving room for innovation and change, which are obviously critical parts of being an entrepreneur. Venus helps you to navigate those disruptions with grace.
And it's really [00:09:00] important because change is inevitable in business. And Venus is there to make sure that you don't lose sight of your core values in the process. And let's definitely not forget Venus and, my absolute favorite, Saturn. these two may seem like an odd couple, because they have very, very different opinions about things.
But when they team up, they bring structure and longevity to your business relationships and systems. Totally core, uh, Venus's charm and Saturn's discipline combined to help you create long lasting connections and stable supportive structures that truly reflect your values. Your values are built into those structures, which keeps you aligned and keeps you moving forward.
Again, towards your ultimate goals and your ultimate vision. There is so much more that I want to explore with you about this beautiful planet and her absolutely crucial energies. But one of the best ways to get a feel for her vibe is to actually pay attention to her transits and sit with her energies as they radiate across the sky.
So I'm about [00:10:00] to dig into a number of pretty epic Venus aspects with you, but first I'm going to share an exercise that can help you her energy anytime. Thank you
so we're going to talk about auditing your business for abundance and alignment. To do this, take a moment to sit down and evaluate where Venus's energy is most needed in your business right now. Are you currently undervaluing your services? Chances are really good that you're doing that. It's very common.
Are your client relationships feeling kind of out of balance? Is your work lacking the joy and the creativity that you originally envisioned for yourself when you started out Venus wants you to check in with how aligned your business is with your values and values. and your desires.
Make a list of one or two areas where you feel out of alignment or undervalued and brainstorm a small but significant shift that you can make to bring in more pleasure and more abundance. Maybe it's raising your prices, if you've made some observations that might mean the market can handle [00:11:00] it.
Sidenote, I'm not a big fan of just raising your prices to raise your prices, especially if you're in a business creating a physical product. That's really, really dangerous to do. But this is also relevant to service providers like us coaches. Do research, do some testing, get some proof, and then go for it.
I'm a scientist at heart. It's all about getting that proof before you commit, especially if your commitment is going to involve a little bit of risk, which adjusting your prices always does. So, you know, just, Take it a little easy there. Okay, mini rant over. Uh, so maybe your Venus channeling audit calls you to refine a system, like making your client onboarding process more automatic.
If you need to give yourself some time back and you're onboarding lots and lots of people, or maybe on the flip side, you want to make it more involved because those initial interactions with people are what gets you super fired up and fill your cup, or maybe it's just about taking a moment to revel in the beauty of what you've built so [00:12:00] far and celebrating it with a special event, or a champagne toast with a loved one, or a trip, or a massage.
I'm not really a massage person, but I understand that that's a thing that people like. So, you know, what I'm saying is whatever, celebrate in a way that makes you feel awesome. adjust something that's not working for you. Wherever Venus is needed, give her a little space to work her magic. Okay?
All right, my cosmic entrepreneurs, let's go ahead and shift gears to talk about the vibe for the week ahead. With Venus running the show, we're stepping into some seriously potent energies for aligning your business with your values, deepening your connections, , and even shaking things up in some unexpected, but pretty exciting ways.
There's a tension between comfort and rebellion here, especially early on in the week with Venus's opposition to Uranus. But the good news is that there's tons of [00:13:00] support for getting in touch with your big, dreamy, expansive goals too. And by the time we reach the full moon in Aries, we'll be feeling a shift in how we define and relate to independence versus collaboration, and we'll round it all out with an energy of transformation and power courtesy of Venus's sextile to Pluto.
Just before Venus departs from Scorpio and arrives in a sign of Sagittarius for a sudden, somewhat extreme shift in flavor, let's say. Uh, so this week is all about using Venus's influence to create more alignment, more joy, and more abundance in every part of your business. Let's get into it. All right, let's dive into the first transit of the week, which happens to also be one of only two events going on this week that does not directly involve Venus. And it's also a familiar one because technically we covered it at the end of last week, but because of its timing, it also kicks off the energy of this week.
Unfortunately, I'm talking of course about the sun Mars square that hits exactitude early Monday morning, [00:14:00] October 14th at 1 14 a. m. Pacific, 4 14 a. m. Eastern. In this transit, we've got the sun at 21 degrees and 29 minutes of Libra and Mars at 21 degrees and 29 minutes of cancer. Now, as a refresher for those of you who caught last week's episode, this is a very prickly, uncomfortable transit,
and we're feeling it really hard on Monday morning, full force. The sun represents your ego and your conscious self, and Mars is all about action, drive, and yeah, okay, a little aggression. All right? And when these two square off, we get friction between what we want to express, which is where the sun's influence pushes us, and how we're trying to make it happen, which is Mars purview.
This friction can feel like your motivations might be under fire. So you might find yourself feeling extra defensive, like other people are challenging you, or maybe sizing you up, or even trying to take advantage of you. Whether this is actually happening at all, or it's just how you're feeling right now.[00:15:00]
The sun in Libra is asking us for balance. But Mars in Cancer is over here like, Balance who? I'm grumpy and I'm sad, which, you know, I get that, uh, with cancer's influence in play, Mars can get very, very emotional, which has the effect of making us really volatile and sensitive to even really small challenges or perceived criticisms.
It's that whole crab shell protecting my soft gooey insides kind of cancer vibe. And if you're as familiar with that dynamic as I am, as a cancer sun, you already know that it can lead to irritability and short snippy tempers and a tendency to react before you've actually reflected on whether or not popping off is actually the right move right now.
And spoiler alert, it almost never actually is. In business, this defensiveness might show up as snapping at a client, which, no, please, please don't do that. Or it might show up as clashing with a team member. Or if you're the type to have arguments in [00:16:00] your own head, speaking as a Gemini moon here, you're getting a lot of information about me today.
You can even get into it with yourself. I mean, have you ever had a knock down, drag out argument with your own Google calendar? Yeah, that's real. And that's the vibe in the wee hours of Monday morning flowing into the rest of the day. It's a tough way to start the week. So unfortunately.
we're talking about a fiery and agitated and ultimately highly irritating energy. And it's easy to get swept up in it and get involved in pointless conflicts. You might even catch yourself mid argument thinking, hold on, what am I even upset about right now? Especially if it's about something as petty as, you know, a DM or like an email or an offhanded comment that just kind of rubs you the wrong way.
One key thing to remember here too is that this transit can also specifically cause tension between yourself and authority figures, whether that's a major client who holds significant power over your revenue stream, or it's [00:17:00] just anybody you see as generally trying to dictate what you should be doing with your time and your energy.
For those of us who decided to go rogue and start our own businesses to have worked so hard to escape having a boss, this square can trigger rebellious feelings in a really big way. But keep in mind that your big client or your controlling director of operations, who's actually probably doing really great work and you're just feeling extra sensitive about it right now, or even your super negative aunt who always has something to say about your business, they are not the boss of you.
You are the boss of you now, you have way more power in this dynamic than you did when you had to be so, so careful and thoughtful about pleasing your higher ups when you were doing the 9 to 5 thing. Remember that as you feel yourself reacting big to this feeling of being controlled, you're no longer in that place where you have to be as deferential in order to stay safe.
You can push back now. But keep it professional and try to remove your emotions from how you react [00:18:00] as much as possible. Getting into it with somebody in a position of influence over you could have consequences that really suck even if they don't result in the loss of your job and as such all of your income at once.
Okay, let's talk action. What's the good news here? There's a lot of powerful, productive energy to tap into here you can, in fact, successfully steer clear of conflict. Take all that Mars driven intensity and focus it on something concrete. Pick a big project that's been hanging over your head, organize your workspace, blast through some beginning of the week to do's.
Kick things off with a theory of focused activity and redirect the tension into productivity so that you can feel accomplished instead of agitated at the top of the week. And if you're on the verge of a heated exchange, just stop, breathe, and ask yourself, is this really worth it? The answer is almost certainly going to be a resounding no.
Okay, everybody, are you ready to get Venusian? Hell yeah! I love Venus [00:19:00] energy. Okay. So next up, still on Monday, after that super intense Sun Mars square, uh, we've got an equally, but very differently charged up transit coming through a Venus Uranus opposition. This one goes exact at 322 PM Pacific, 622 PM Eastern with Venus stationed.
At 26 degrees and 31 minutes of Scorpio and Uranus directly across the zodiac at 26 degrees and 31 minutes of Taurus. Now here's where things get interesting because both Venus and Uranus are moving through signs that aren't exactly their comfort zones. Venus is in detriment in Scorpio. She's powerful and pretty badass.
And if you follow me on Instagram, I did a whole breakdown of her dominatrix esque energy last week, I believe. So check that out at mystical business coach. But she's also a bit edgy and a little dark and moody. I mean, you know, same, right? Uh, and then Uranus is in Taurus where she is technically in her fall, meaning her wildcard rebellious punk [00:20:00] energy is now a bit more grounded than what we're used to.
So let me put it this way. They're both wearing combat boots, but for entirely different reasons. Venus in Scorpio wears sleek, heeled combat boots, as a fashion statement to project her intensity and her edgy depth. And Uranus in Taurus wears battered, old steel toed boots that she's lived in since she was a teenager because she didn't want to get her toes crushed in the mosh pit.
So we've got a cosmic tug of war between two planets that share some common ground, but that are fundamentally doing different things and have very different viewpoints. And in addition to that, Thanks to being in fall and detriment, they're both already a little off kilter. So how does this play out?
Oppositions are generally tense aspects where two planets pull in different directions, like a disagreement of opinion between friends or colleagues. And when Venus and Uranus are involved, the conflict at hand is between stability and chaos, or tradition and comfort zone, [00:21:00] versus like full on kick in the table over style rebellion.
Venus represents our values, our self worth, and our relationships. Everything we hold dear and that's precious to us. In Scorpio, Venus can get extra intense and extra possessive, and really unwilling to give up what's near and dear, even when it's no longer serving her, almost on principle. Think of Venus here as holding tight to the familiar, whether it's old relationships, outdated business practices, or even the way you perceive your worth in the world.
On the flip side, Uranus is pure rebellion. She's that disruptive, freedom seeking friend who amps you up and makes you want to say, fuck it and strike a match and just burn it all to the ground. Uranus is the planet of innovation, which is awesome, but she also rules instability. So when she opposes Venus,
there's a temptation to shake things up in a way that may not be entirely thought through. So picture your punkiest friend in your friend group who's always pushing boundaries and trying to get you to do [00:22:00] borderline illegal stuff, while Venus is that grounded friend just trying to keep everyone calm and getting along.
Uranus, as the outer planet in play here, will have the tendency to try to influence Venus, the planet that's more personal and close to us. The tension here is potentially serious, and it can lead to feelings of restlessness and longing for freedom and the urge to rebel against anything that feels confining, whether that's a relationship or a business partnership, or even an aspect of your current business model that feels restrictive.
That's not a terrible thing, right? It's good to listen to those feelings when they come. But we just need to be a little bit careful that we're not going overboard because we're being coaxed into it by Uranus. This opposition might also manifest as psychosomatic discomfort or discomfort that occurs in your body and your mind.
You may feel tense or anxious without being able to pinpoint exactly why. rules your nervous system. And so is poking at Venus's desire for [00:23:00] stability, and it can make you feel kind of stagnant and uncomfortable and dissatisfied.
You might catch yourself wandering away from your desk on a whim, seeking out distractions, or impulsively chasing a desire for pleasure or indulgence, which is Venus acting out under the influence of Uranus, but it's less about a general impulse to seek pleasure, like you might see between Venus and Jupiter.
than it is about doing so to avoid the discomfort of facing deeper feelings of inadequacy or fears around connection and being seen, which are the ways that Venus feels when she's off her game. In business, this transit can make you feel like you want to burn it all down. Whether that means firing a difficult client, quitting a partnership, throwing out a strategy that's been working but is now feeling too restrictive or boring.
Uranus wants us to start throwing grenades in our business. And there are moments when that kind of activity can be good and even important. generally speaking, when you want to remove something from your business, you want to do it [00:24:00] with a little bit more precision. And Uranus doesn't really feel like she has time for that.
So. This kind of energy can be a good thing if you've been holding on to something that's no longer aligned with your growth, and you can target that specific thing to get rid of it. Along those lines, we did just talk about how Chiron's energy last week was encouraging us to release what's no longer serving us.
It's a great, important thing to do. But here's the thing, Uranus wants us to do everything now, and while Venus is gripping tightly to what's familiar, that's really uncomfortable. So Be mindful of making hasty or fear based decisions, especially since we're coming off of that very aggro, Sun Mars square energy.
If you're feeling impulsive, pause and take a beat before you make any really big, dramatic moves. Your business action is to shake things up, but do it safely. Intentionally do something out of the norm for yourself as a tribute to Uranus, but keep it relatively safe as your tribute to Venus.
So strike a balance, [00:25:00] right? That's the best thing to do in an opposition. Allow yourself to be impulsive in a way that adds excitement and creativity to your work without following Uranus all the way down the rabbit hole. Maybe try out a new marketing strategy where you do something a little weird, or you can launch a quirky offer that you don't really know what the results are going to be, and that's a little bit exciting and risky, right?
Or you can approach a project from an unconventional angle if one occurs to you, just kind of go for it. If you're worried that you might be going a little too far over the top due to Uranus kind of pushing at your boundaries, run it by somebody you trust before you release anything into the wild.
And that way you're channeling the rebellious, innovative energy of Uranus without accidentally burning bridges or setting unnecessary and destructive fires.
Next up on Tuesday, October 15th at 5 49 PM Pacific, 8 49 PM Eastern. We are graced by a glorious, sexy, Ultra dreamy, ultra mystical, magical trine between [00:26:00] Venus and Neptune. Venus, as you obviously know by now, after listening to the first part of this podcast is the planet that rules values, how we value ourselves, our relationships, our business offerings, our skills.
She joins forces with Neptune trine, which is such a beautiful energetic moment because Neptune is the ruler of ideals and high vibe dreams. Venus, is more personal, right? Uh, and then similar to Uranus, Neptune is an outer planet, and as such, he's a bit more expansive and grand.
But together, in a super lovely trine, these two planets bring out the absolute best in each other. They're basically a dreamy cosmic power couple whose influence we all want to benefit from as much as possible. They have so much mutual support to give. and, and when they're in conflict, it's especially complicated, right?
Because there's a lot of similarities between them and, uh, conflict between similar elements can be really hard to parse. But when they're loving on each other, like they are here, it gives you this [00:27:00] massive boost to your sense of personal alignment with your bigger, broader goals and your business's ultimate mission.
This energy is honestly about as empowering for entrepreneurship as it can possibly get. When these two planets are in sync, it's a potential alignment for big, idealistic, value driven action. And that's the key, right? It always comes back to action. This energy creates a flow that specifically boosts your ability to align your small daily values aligned moves and routines that you perform as a sort of regular tribute to Venus with your grand visions and your business ultimate mission, which is overseen by Neptune.
And It helps your daily actions essentially ladder up smoothly towards that bigger picture in a way that's clear and consistent about steadily moving you closer to those big, heady goals that you have. And since this is a water trine, the emotional heart centered support is really high here, which helps you get swept up in the beauty of [00:28:00] your dreams rather than feeling overwhelmed by the magnitude of what you're planning for yourself.
Because you are dreaming big, right? You better be. And if you're not, please use this energy to start. Plus, it's all happening under a waxing gibbous moon. So it's the perfect time not only to ideate around your ultimate goals, but it's also supportive for refining those big plans and actually getting them ready for execution.
Again, There's action implied here. The energy isn't just about feeling aligned. It's about acting on that alignment. Venus and Neptune are basically throwing a bunch of confetti in your face and yelling, yes, girl, dream the dreams, but also just fucking get out there and do the damn thing. So what might this feel like?
You could find yourself getting wrapped up in fantasies and daydreams around the time of this transit. And side note, don't let anybody tell you that that's unproductive. It's unproductive. Dreams are the purest form of fuel. They are absolutely mission critical for accomplishing [00:29:00] literally anything. So let yourself float up in the clouds for a bit, if you feel that pull, and you'll probably find that when you come back down to earth, you'll be even more motivated to tackle the super boring and annoying tasks ahead because your vision is clear and your dreams are super fluffy and wonderful.
There's also the potential here for an incredible sense of love and empathy, towards others, and most importantly, perhaps towards yourself. This isn't a sharp edged transit. It's a lot of flow and ease, and that makes it an excellent time to give yourself the space for some really gentle self healing and compassion, especially if you've been really hard on yourself lately
you're going to set a BHAG, and I'll talk about what that is in just a second. One of the most satisfying actions to take as a business owner is, no doubt, to indulge in the excitement and the vibiness of dreaming about the future. But dreaming is hard, so if you've been losing steam and starting to doubt your vision, it [00:30:00] might be time to sit down and come up with a BHAG, or a Big Hairy Audacious Goal.
A BHAG lives somewhere between the daily values aligned behavioral actions that we take and the rituals that we perform as part of, uh, how we relate to Venus, and
Our gigantic and perhaps overwhelming ideals and ultimate vision for our business that Neptune prompts us to steer towards, but that might feel out of reach. A big, hairy, audacious goal is going to get us thinking about how we bridge that gap, how we ladder up from small individual actions to actually making our dreams come true.
So take a moment to think of one reach goal that will definitively move you towards your ultimate vision. purpose. I'll give you an example. If part of my ultimate goal for my business is that I won't be involved in marketing or delivering my product anymore so that I can focus on speaking and inspiring and developing growth strategies as a CEO, then my BHAG might be to hire and onboard someone to help support me in either [00:31:00] marketing or product delivery or somewhere else within the next six months to a year.
As a first step towards building out a team that will allow me to fully disconnect from the day to day of the actual delivery of the product and the running of the business so that I can focus on my CEO shit. , that's really audacious. Hiring someone is audacious. Okay, especially if you've been rocking it solo this whole time, or you've worked with a few contractors here and there, but nothing more committed than that.
Another example is that if part of your vision for your business is that a chunk of your revenue will go towards supporting causes or organizations that are helping to fight the very many egregious problems facing underserved populations and our environment, then your BHAG can be to start setting a small percentage of your revenue aside now, or if you can't afford to do that quite yet, to make a clear plan for what revenue threshold you'll hit when you start funneling resources towards those causes.
And then you can create more thresholds and up the [00:32:00] percentage as you go until you reach your ultimate goal. So you can do some planning around that and make sure that you're integrating that really important piece of your ultimate dream into your value system right now and what you're doing right now to move towards that goal.
Next up on Thursday morning, we have a beautiful, if somewhat challenging, full moon taking place in the sign of Aries woo boy, business folk, this moon is hitting us right in a sensitive spot. It deals with the exact reason why we left desk jobs behind to pursue entrepreneurship.
Aries is the zodiacal sign that relates to independence and freedom. Yeah, that's right on the money for most of us, because these are ideals that we strive for and values that we tend to hold incredibly dear. We don't like being told what to do, Neither does Aries. Full moons cause us to release something.
So we're being asked to let something go. The tricky thing is, many of us, myself included, we tend to cling to our [00:33:00] independence as a core value, as people who literally made the decision at some point that it was just better to go it alone, for our own well being and for the chance to meet or even exceed our potential free of glass ceilings and petty frustrating gatekeepers looking to maintain an unfair status quo.
So when the full moon in Aries asks us to release something around independence. That's touchy. The question I want to ask is when does a fixation on independence shift from being beneficial to taking some kind of toll? When does it stop serving us? And to be fair, different people are going to have different answers to that question.
A dedication to independence might stop serving you when it becomes individualism. When you refuse help from anyone else, even when you really, really need it, because you're afraid that if you let them help you, either you failed at entrepreneurship or you're worried they're going to do it wrong.
Or you always just feel like you end up owing people something when they support you and you don't [00:34:00] like being in debt. Does any of that sound familiar to you? I bet it does. It's very common. Aries is a big proponent of the attitude of just let me do it, because I'll actually do it right.
Uh, and I don't need any help. I don't want to get tangled up in somebody else's thing. Individualism isn't working for you when you fully isolate yourself from your friends and even your peers in your specific space and you find yourself completely alone without anyone to bounce ideas off of or vent to or learn from or to share your expertise with, which is such a great feeling when you can really help somebody else out on their journey.
That isolation does you zero favors because most people actually need community to feel inspired and maintain momentum. And that community can be big or super small, you know, like in my case, I keep my community very, very tight. Um, but it should exist somehow. Individualism stops serving you when you miss potentially lucrative and useful opportunities to do work in [00:35:00] collaboration with others.
Just because you might not want to have to share executive decision making with anybody else. Collaborative projects can be an incredible way to not only increase your viewership if it's a marketing collab, or your revenue if you're building an incredible product with somebody else.
Um, they can also be a really awesome way to network and get inspiration, both of which have a huge impact on your business. If you're making choices that are specifically limiting your ability to expand your web of connections with other people in or around your field, you're limiting opportunities to benefit from relationships with folks who might be the source of your next major breakthrough, or introduce you to an entirely new pool of eager potential clients, etc, etc.
Networking might not be your jam exactly, and it doesn't have to be, I'm terrible at it, and I'd much prefer to keep my cloisters over here. But don't actively scuttle opportunities to network if they float your way because you don't want to have to deal with other people or you just want to be able to do it all on your own.
You're not an [00:36:00] island. Your business literally cannot survive if it's cut off from the precious resource of mutual support from other people in your space. So let's talk action here. Are you hindering the growth of your business by ignoring the fact that you thrive when you're interconnected or enmeshed with other people?
Choose one small action to take during or around the full moon to embrace community. Catch up with a friend who's also in business. Doesn't have to be the same line of business as you.
Uh, rethink an offer someone pitched you about doing a collaboration together. Or, put on your big kid pants and delegate a task to someone else, either on your team or if it's a household chore and you don't have time, to someone in your family or in your household. Just trust another human to do something for you that might make your life easier.
That may be really, really hard for you to do. So you might have to start out super small, but trust, this is a skill that you need to learn if you don't want to completely fizzle out before your [00:37:00] business is even close to reaching its potential. need to learn how to delegate. Alrighty, our final planetary transit of the week, not event. But final transit of the week. Okay, so got two more things to talk about. But this is the final moment where two planets are aspecting each other. It's taking place on Thursday.
Just an hour after the full moon reaches exactitude because remember a full moon happens when the Sun and the moon oppose each other. Super cool. So about an hour after that, Or at 5. 30am Pacific, 8. 30am Eastern, Venus will sextile Pluto with Venus at 29 degrees and 39 minutes of Scorpio and Pluto at 29 degrees and 39 minutes of Capricorn.
So this transit's taking place at the anoretic degrees of those signs, which serves to strengthen the power of the signs and how they impact the planets therein. So Scorpio is going to be extra biting and intense. And honestly, it's very Plutonian. So this is an extra [00:38:00] Plutonian Venus. And Capricorn is going to be extra Capricorn y at the very end of the
capricorn space in the sky. So like appreciating of structure and responsibility for a very Saturnian Pluto. That's a lot of pretty intense energy that's amped up extra hard by taking place at that anaeretic degree, right at the end of the zodiacal signs that are hosting our planets. Let's talk about Pluto for a minute because we don't see her all the time, and we She's a lot.
Pluto deals with power and transformation. she has the ability to do something really, really important, which is to catalyze change, whether that's in other people, in structures, or more broadly in the world. This is incredibly potent power for anyone to wield, but it's especially important for those of us whose core missions involve facilitating transformation for other people.
And a lot of us who are doing that are doing it for a living. We're coaches, we're therapists, we're founders of [00:39:00] nonprofits, and our mission is to create change in some kind of deep and meaningful, impactful way, both within and for the people that we serve. And it extends even further than that.
You could easily make the argument that anybody who's in any kind of business is fundamentally in the business of exchanging transformation for money, or the promise of transformation for money. Uh, we'll talk about that in a minute. That's kind of the conceit at the root of all brand and marketing strategy, right?
What does Nabisco sell? Transformation, where Oreos transform you into a person who's delighted with childlike wonder at the nostalgic flavor and, you know, the process of dipping an Oreo cookie into milk and eating it. What does Nike sell? Transformation. Where Nike shoes have the power to transform you into a laser focused, ultra lethal athlete.
And even beyond that, into someone who's able to put mind over matter and just do it. That's a really powerful promise. Uh, so Pluto is important. [00:40:00] She taps on a really key piece of what we as business owners strive to do. Pluto is also about agency on a level of power. She wants it.
She wants to use it to create change. And she can get power hungry if we aren't careful. Lucky for us, Capricornian Pluto tends to be a little more responsible with power. Although, of course, that can mean very different things to different people. But for us, those of us with empathy, who do what we do, both to make a living and to actually try to help other people and make positive change in the world, our responsibility looks like using our power thoughtfully and non destructively, at least non destructive of structures that provide safety and resources for other humans.
It can be extremely destructive when it comes to dismantling systems of oppression, though, and that's probably one of the most important activities that Pluto calls upon us to perform. Capricornian Pluto also craves prestige and can view the accumulation of power as a way to fulfill ambitions, which, yes, it definitely [00:41:00] can do that.
So this energy is very useful, even as it has the extreme potential to be completely misused by people whose ambitions involve trampling others on their way towards wholesale accumulation of resources. Aka capitalists, people who believe that they have a right to more, much more than others, which is super gross and weird.
And from my perspective is the primary dynamic that we need to overcome as a species in order to right the very, very many wrongs that we are actively committing, that are essentially destroying our habitat's ability to support us and undermining our collective humanity through acts of incredibly selfish, violence
all right. So before we get too far down the political rabbit hole, let's refocus here. Um, we're going to refocus on you and your business and what energies this transit makes available to you so that you can make a difference. Lucky for us, Venus and Pluto are forming a sextile here, which is the transit of opportunity.[00:42:00]
There's good energy circulating during this transit and you can have access to it, you just need to reach out and grab it. Sextiles require a tribute. You need to give a little something in order to get the benefits here. So when Venus, our relationships and value and all that we hold dear, et cetera, et cetera, um, when Venus sextiles Pluto, the planet of power and metamorphosis and drama, we feel everything extra deeply.
But not necessarily in an uncomfortable way, rather you might feel extra interested in exploring your emotions or in understanding the emotions of others. Again, with Pluto in play, this interest in the workings of others emotions and their behaviors and how they connect, it can go in different ways.
It's great for marketing research. You know, behavioral analysis kind of stuff, which can create stronger messaging that spreads word of your services far and wide, which is awesome, but it can also be extremely manipulative when people's emotional triggers are studied to then be used to basically trick them into [00:43:00] feeling like they need something that doesn't actually benefit them.
I know I keep going back to Oreos for some reason, probably because I'm pretty stressed out right now and I tend to eat my feelings. Um, but no one is more guilty than giant snack corporations of using this kind of Venusian, Plutonian energy to manipulate people into buying shit that's actually terrible for them
and literally designed to be addictive and potentially life ruining, depending on someone's context and genetics. Like if they have a genetic predisposal to diabetes and heart disease. But you. You, my lovely heart led entrepreneur, you can wield this energy in a much more responsible and respectful way.
You can use it to tap into the opportunities to share your transformations with the people who need it most, which we also call finding your ideal client, which isn't necessarily the person who's most susceptible to and vulnerable to your message, which again, is manipulative and honestly, worrisome, but [00:44:00] rather it's the person who is most in need of the services you provide so that they can undergo a lasting transformation that actually benefits themselves and ideally, the people they support and serve as well.
Participating in an economy that is so supportive of extractive and manipulative practices can be really, really hard because on a very basic level, you're performing the same basic process that big, horrible extractive corporations are performing. Marketing to people, asking them to buy your thing, figuring out ways to get them to identify with the transformation you're offering.
Basically. You know, all the steps of participating in business. But once you get past that very fundamental level, two different paths open up in front of you. Pluto and Venus together gave you the opportunity to better understand the deep complexities of what makes people happy, what they love, what they want and need, and then you get to choose how you proceed once you make discoveries there about how to get [00:45:00] people to buy what you're selling.
And I encourage you to use this power as ethically as you possibly can. Do not put intense pressure on people when you discover what they fear. Don't use that to freak them out and manipulate them into buying something that they don't actually need or that won't actually ultimately improve their lives.
Please do not trick people into buying something from you that you have reason to believe they'll most likely never use. It can be a somewhat fine line. Sometimes you don't know if someone's actually going to use something, but it's not as fine a line as I think we all fear. You know when you're manipulating people.
In fact, you might be oversensitive to it and worry that it's all you do. That's not true, but you do need to figure out where that line is for you and stay mindful of it. So aside from making discoveries about human emotions and behavior during this time, you may experience a deepening of your relationships during this transit, which, of course, absolutely vibes with the Aries full moon [00:46:00] as you work on releasing your radical individualism in favor of embracing network and community.
You might even find yourself wanting to stir up drama, but in a good way. Maybe by going out of your way to surprise and delight your clients or your team. And this energy can be really intense or it can be fun and beautiful and mutually beneficial. So take responsibility for using it in a way that truly aligns with your values.
All right, a business action here, take full advantage of this sparkly sextile by putting some effort in upfront. And so that might actually mean doing some market research and bonus points if you take advantage of the Venusian social vibes and Capricornian focus of Pluto to do a combination of online research and actual face to face case studies where you book some time to talk to people who you think best reflect your ideal client.
Remember that for ethical purposes, your ideal client avatar here should be reflective of people who most need what you have to give
in that the service you provide will change [00:47:00] their life for the better. Okay? Your ideal client is not the person who you can most easily frighten into thinking that they need your thing. That's not a way to approach this that has results that make people feel safer. It's quite the opposite. Take responsibility for using your marketing research thoughtfully and with real empathy for the people who you serve.
All right. Our final event of the week is a Venus ingression into Sagittarius from Scorpio, which takes place on Thursday afternoon at exactly 1228 PM Pacific, 328 PM Eastern at 30 degrees of Scorpio, which fun fact is also zero degrees . Of Sagittarius. Venus changes signs pretty quickly, almost monthly, so I don't always note them, but this one is just really nice, and I've made such a big deal out of Venus in Scorpio, which is a personal fave of mine, that it only feels fair to take a moment and share thoughts on into a very different energy looks like.
Especially in a week where she's so dominant. [00:48:00] And you'll have to forgive me because Sagittarius is an energy that I didn't really identify with very strongly for all of the years that I followed pop astrology, but didn't dig any deeper than that. So Sagittarius can be a little hard for me to talk about.
Um, sidebar, It's actually pretty fucking hard to learn about the zodiacal energies if your source material is magazines that do weekly horoscopes. Uh, do you want to know why? It's because, shockingly, to those of us who tend to be more analytical and who like to really fully understand and grasp systems before we talk about them, um, A lot of horoscope writers view their work as more of a creative exercise than a scientific one, and by scientific, I don't mean that I think astrologers need to be rigorous in the ways that people like chemists and surgeons need to be.
I think some people feel that way. I don't. But what I mean is that I and others like me tend to see astrology as a system of information and rules to a certain degree. And it's not that those rules aren't somewhat flexible, [00:49:00] because there's plenty of room for play here, but it did come as a huge surprise to me to discover that that's not how everybody does it.
There are folks out there who are a lot more intuitive in how they interpret charts and signs, and it's especially so for sun sign horoscope writers. So at this point, I tend to read horoscopes with a big ol grain of salt, keeping in mind that the writer may be viewing their work as a creative exercise.
Uh, like, when I analyze a chart, Or track transits to create this very specific type of horoscope that I'm sharing with you right now, not sun sign based, not rising sign based, but more universally focused on planetary energies. I'm over here with literal tomes of information, uh, cracked open on my desk.
I'm referring not only to my copious, ever growing system of notes that I keep in a rigorously color coded database that is now housed in Notion at its core. It's very pretty and thorough, but I've also got at least two or three books out. I'm referring to articles I've bookmarked over time that really opened my eyes to [00:50:00] something interesting.
I'm going back to old podcast episodes and random notes in my notes app. Basically, if there's a creative element to what I'm doing, it comes in the writing process, but it's really happening long after I've done what I consider to be the work, which is super structured and rigorous.
And follows certain types of formulas, right? Like to a certain degree, there is something about astrology that reminds us of an equation, right? When I'm looking at a transit, I'm thinking planet A plus planet B, you know, it's, it's that kind of structure in my mind. And obviously that's not everybody's thing, right?
And that's a hundred million percent okay. And I honestly, I do stray from traditional interpretations of astro stuff all the time, and I think that's great, and I think it's even important to do as you internalize it and make it your own and actually experience the transits and experience the dynamics of your natal chart, you know, that's going to impact how you interpret this system of knowledge and [00:51:00] information.
But if you're trying to, get started and figure out the fundamental systems of astrology, please don't try to do so through reading horoscopes because it just isn't going to work. And if anything, it'll probably mostly just confuse you. And it's very worst. It'll set you up to make snap judgments about other people, according to their sun signs, which if you've been listening to my podcast for a hot second, you know, is an enormous pet peeve of mine.
It's way oversimplifying a very, very complex system. Anyways, let me get off my horoscope soapbox and let's talk a little bit about Sagittarius. Now that I've done some research and I actually understand what the sign is about at its roots. I love Sag energy now, after years of not really connecting with it, because Sagittarius is oftentimes kind of represented as like super loose and fun, and if you're more of a kind of uptight sort of person like me, that might not resonate, but hold tight because I'm about to help you see how you do in fact carry this [00:52:00] energy inside you.
Sagittarius is about expansion. Sagittarius It's ruled by Jupiter, which already should start to connect some dots for you. Jupiter is our solar system's massive gas giant, who's also here to party, sure. But in general, Jupiter rules bigness and growth and things like business scaling. So Sagittarius's mission is to seek opportunities and demolish limits or just completely ignore them.
And to explore with courage and freedom for some overlap with the Aries energy of the full moon this week. if that didn't give you a clearer sense of how you inherently relate to this sign and can absolutely channel its energies, check this out.
Sagittarius is a seeker. Again, this is very Jupiterian, Sagittarius seeks knowledge, experiences, and resources. If you're a collector, there's a bit of sag to that, a desire to possess all the information and to do so freely without the what, when, why, or how being dictated by anyone but yourself.
Sagittarius is very [00:53:00] ethical and loves to support others by teaching and sharing all that juicy accumulated knowledge. Sag values truth, which is a complex statement because of course, truth is really hard to pin down almost by definition.
Uh, it means different things to different people when we're talking outside of the bounds of hard science and mathematics, but at the core of the statement is the fact that Saj likes to be right. And I know if none of that other stuff connected with you, this probably does.
So when Venus is under the influence of Sagittarius, she gets expansive, which is really, really nice. These two astrological entities are very supportive of each other, just like how Venus and Jupiter just vibe together no matter how difficult the aspect that they're forming. Sagittarius really brings out Venus's commitment to ethics and takes it to another level.
So expect to have extra access to empathy during this time. So let's talk action steps.
During the next month or so, you have extra support in smashing limiting beliefs that impact your feelings [00:54:00] of self worth and deservingness. In general, this is an amazingly well supported time for self care. Venus can spend a lot of her energy investing in the care and support of others, but Sagittarian Venus is a little more focused on me.
It's interesting that that's the case for Scorpio Venus, too. albeit in a very different way, but we're in a bit of a window of time here where we get to indulge in care of self over or at least alongside care of others, and that's important. I know you likely do what you do because you derive immense pleasure from helping other people, but I also know that you likely tend to do so at your own expense.
So if that's you, take full use of this energy and do something for yourself. Make it opulent, make it indulgent, even if that indulgence is literally just taking a day for yourself. I know you get that advice all the time, and I know it's hard to actually act on it and how bitter it can feel when somebody tells you to do that.
And all you can think about is [00:55:00] how many people need you. Maybe you're a caregiver, how much you have going on. We're all swamped. Maybe you have your main hustle, and this is your side hustle. It's very overwhelming. Well, guess what? Sometimes you get to be selfish, especially when Venus is swanning through Sagittarius.
So take advantage. I will say that the danger is that Venus in Sag has a tendency to push some folks overboard with indulgence and get wrapped up in the pleasure of more until she just takes it too far and it starts to hurt. Specifically, if you have addictive tendencies, And that's no shade. It's largely a genetic trait and whatever of it isn't genetic is environmental and about how we grow up. so a hundred percent, not something that is your fault ever. I feel very strongly about that. So if you have addictive tendencies or patterns in your past, you may want to be extra careful about this energy's ability to set that off.
Speaking as someone who this applies to. I'm going out of my way to block [00:56:00] in activities in my calendar that I know are going to help me get through difficult cravings, and I suggest that you do the same if you're concerned you might be triggered by Venus in Sagittarius.
All right, friends, that's a wrap on this Venus drenched week. Yeah, I said it. And to quickly recap, Venus is teaching us some really powerful lessons about how self worth, relationships, and joy are the foundations of a thriving business. So whether you're leaning into new connections, or refining your sense of value, or dreaming up audacious goals,
venus is there to remind you that abundance flows from alignment with your truest desires. Let's do a really quick recap of the key transits and business actions for this week. On Monday the 14th, the sun squares Mars, bringing some friction, so channel that defensive energy into productivity instead of pointless conflict.
Also on Monday, Venus opposes Uranus, pushing you to balance comfort and rebellion. Shake things up, but do it with intention. On [00:57:00] Tuesday, Venus trines Neptune and invites you to dream big. So now's the time to set a BHAG that bridges the gap between daily actions and long term vision.
Thursday's full moon in Aries asks you to release limiting beliefs around independence, embrace community, and collaboration for growth. Also on Thursday, Venus sextiles Pluto offering deep transformative power. Use it wisely to connect meaningfully and expand with empathy in your business relationships.
And finally, on Thursday afternoon, Venus ingresses into Sagittarius and shifts you into expansion mode. So go ahead and smash any limiting beliefs about your own self worth and deservingness, because they're bullshit, and I think you know it. All right. Thank you so much for tuning in this week. Remember, Venus wants you to thrive in every single sense of the word.
So make sure you're cultivating joy and abundance and meaningful connections in your work.
