[00:00:00] Hello, spirit led business friends. It's Azara and I am your soul centered business coach and mystical demystifier of all things esoteric and financially gainful. Welcome to the mystical business coach podcast, where I share the most impactful mystical tools to make planning and running your business more magical.
[00:00:21] More lucrative, and most importantly, more fun. Today, we're diving deep into the energy of one of the most misunderstood, yet essential players on your business's board of celestial advisors, Saturn. I want to take a moment to explore the Ringed Planet this week, because she'll be showing up a couple of times in the coming weeks, doing what Saturn oftentimes does, offering stability and structure amidst cosmic chaos.
[00:00:48] And while Saturn often gets a bad rap for being a bit of a hard ass, I love her. I'm a huge fan, and I want to show you
[00:00:56] so buckle up as we explore the role Saturn plays, not just in your business, but in your entire cosmic ecosystem. This breakdown is going to help you get to know Saturn in a new, less bummer y light, and I promise you'll walk away with some actionable steps to make friends with this, frankly, unfairly maligned planet and channel its potent transformative energy into your business.
[00:01:23] All right. In the grand boardroom, of your cosmic business, every planet and celestial body has a unique role to play. And Saturn is advising you from the perspective of a director of operations. Think of Saturn as the meticulous manager who makes everything run like clockwork. You know the type. I know you've met at least one of these incredible people before.
[00:01:45] Super disciplined, methodical, maybe a little strict, and absolutely essential for making sure the CEO's visionary ideas don't just crumble under the weight of terrible planning. Saturn's influence is all about boundaries, structure, and long term planning. She's not here for the quick wins or the glamorous launches, she's here for the long haul.
[00:02:07] Saturn is the cosmic architect, laying down solid foundations that ensure your business can grow sustainably over time. So, if you're someone who's more focused on the dreamy, passionate, creative side of entrepreneurship, but you rear back in terror from the nuts and bolts of actually running a business, guess what?
[00:02:26] Saturn's your new best friend. So let's get into a little backstory. The name Saturn comes from Roman mythology, where Saturn was worshiped as the God of time, wealth, and agriculture. Serious heavy hitter, right? He ruled over the golden age, which was a mythical period of abundance and peace where humanity lived in absolute harmony with nature.
[00:02:49] But Saturn's also known for his sternness and discipline, which were qualities he used to maintain order and stability. It's no wonder that in astrology, Saturn's energy is all about responsibility, discipline, and the kind of growth that comes from hard work and perseverance.
[00:03:05] Mythologically, The Roman Saturn corresponds to the Greek god, Cronus, father of Zeus. And yes, Cronus is related to the word chronological, dealing with the progression of events over time. Weirdly, Cronus is known for having swallowed his children to prevent them from overthrowing him, which honestly seems kind of like a petty overcompensation for not doing a great job of parenting.
[00:03:29] Uh, and of course, Cronus Those kinds of stories definitely add to Saturn's reputation for being a bit on the intense and punishing side. But these myths also tend to highlight the cyclical nature of time and karma, which Saturn governs. Saturn's influence often feels heavy because it deals with cause and effect, also known as consequence.
[00:03:51] Always, always taking us back to the consequences of our actions, past, present, and future. Alright, let's zoom out a bit and take a look at Saturn from another useful perspective, astronomically. Saturn is the second largest planet in our solar system. A massive gas giant composed mainly of hydrogen and helium.
[00:04:11] Saturn is of course famous for its iconic ring system, which is made up of billions of chunks of ice rocks and little bits of dust, and these rings while beautiful, also serve as a symbol of Saturn's core astrological themes. boundaries and structure. They encapsulate Saturn's energy perfectly, enclosing, defining, containing, and stabilizing.
[00:04:34] It's such lovely poetry. And because Saturn is a gas giant, it doesn't have a solid surface like the terrestrial planets, like Earth, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Instead, it's a swirling mass of gases with incredibly high winds, reaching speeds of over a thousand miles per hour. This very turbulent atmosphere adds to Saturn's complex, multifaceted energy and is capable of both fierce storms and serene, steady rotations.
[00:05:01] So there's a lot of play in terms of how Saturn comes to the table, and with a diameter of about 72, 000 miles, Saturn is nearly 10 times the size of Earth. Its immense size and mass give it a powerful gravitational pull, which astronomically symbolizes Saturn's influence in our lives. Its weight and presence can feel pressing and inescapable, but it's also grounding.
[00:05:27] And stabilizing. It's a planet of many contradictions, and that's part of what's so beautiful and
[00:05:33] fascinating about it. So how does Saturn play with the rest of your board of celestial advisors? Let's break down Saturn's relationship with the other planets she encounters in our sky. First up, let's talk about the sun, your will. When Saturn interacts with the sun, It's all about illuminating your responsibilities and shining a light on the structures you need to build in order to support your ambitions, which are ruled by the sun.
[00:06:02] It's a time to get serious about who you are and what you want to accomplish, and this can feel heavy, but it's also incredibly empowering when you step up to the challenge. Okay, next up, Mercury, your mind, the communicator. Saturn's influence on Mercury asks you to communicate with precision and purpose, productive communication, with an outcome in mind.
[00:06:26] It's a fantastic time for drafting contracts, setting clear business policies, or getting your messaging just right when these two planets interact. No fluff, no filler. This is not about, sexy marketing. This is clear, effective communication. Speaking of sexy marketing, uh, Venus, who rules values and charms.
[00:06:47] Okay. So when Saturn trines Venus, we see stability in relationships and in finances. And we're going to see that coming up this week. It's a time for solidifying partnerships and magnetizing clients and making super smart, long term financial decisions. It's not about instant gratification. It's about investments that will pay off in the long run.
[00:07:08] And that's when Saturn and Venus get along. When they don't get along, It's conflict between your values and the structures that you've put into place. That's a big, big problem. So those more challenging transits are time to really carefully and thoughtfully work through and deal with. The parts of your business where your structures are not aligned with your values and your ultimate goals.
[00:07:32] All right, next, Mars, our actions. Saturn and Mars can either be diametrically opposed to each other, as we've seen in a recent square between those two planets, it's very frustrating, uh, or they can be power partners. So when they square off, you can end up feeling trapped in busy work and bureaucracy and paperwork.
[00:07:53] like we're trying to drive with the brakes on, but when these two planets get along, They become a powerhouse duo with Mars's energy being expertly channeled by Saturn's structure. It's two very, very different
[00:08:07] faces between these two planets. All right, let's talk about the Moon. Saturn's interaction with the Moon can feel emotional, but in a grounded way. So it's about emotional resilience and dealing with past traumas or issues with a mature, level headed approach. Saturn rules experience and making decisions from a place of experience.
[00:08:30] And so that is something that we're able to do more easily when Saturn and the Moon are together.
[00:08:36] Saturn asks you to deal with things and then move on. And yeah, that can feel a little bit cold, but really it's about focus on processing and then being able to move forward. It's very freeing. Saturn and Jupiter Are our solar systems to gas giants, and they couldn't possibly be more different.
[00:08:58] They're known as the great benefic and the great malefic and guess which is which, uh, but when they come together harmoniously, they balance expansion and growth and joy with discipline, structure, and focus. And this is excellent for setting and achieving realistic goals that are still ambitious enough to make your spirit sing.
[00:09:18] Now, Saturn's relationship with Uranus. is like the tug of war between tradition, which in the case of your business, we can think of as methods that are tried and true versus Uranus's love of innovation and blowing everything up, starting over, coming up with something completely new. Uranus wants to disrupt.
[00:09:37] Uh, it wants to improve and maybe gamble a little bit. Uranus is a really big player in startups, especially if they're venture backed. And Saturn. Very differently, just wants to feel confident in putting a stable, trusted method into place. When the two work together, however, you can find innovative ways to build on solid foundations.
[00:09:59] How much more effective is a revolution that has a clear plan? All right, let's take a look at Chiron next. Saturn's influence on Chiron helps us build systems of healing and self care. It's about establishing a daily practice that supports your well being, acknowledging that true healing requires consistency and consistent effort over time.
[00:10:19] And this is where Saturn's structure can yield one of the most powerful boons to your business of all. Good habits. One of Saturn's most important areas of influence is in our recurring behaviors, which, as I'm sure you know, as well as I do, can either bring us steadily closer to our visions for the future or can take us farther and farther away.
[00:10:42] All right, Neptune. Saturn's touch on Neptune brings dreams down to earth. Having a dream is wonderful. But what good is it if you don't take the concrete steps to actually call it into reality? It's about taking those big, nebulous visions and turning them into something tangible, also known as manifestation.
[00:11:05] That's right. Unsexy Saturn is a key player in how we manifest. It might feel like a buzzkill to have your dreams subjected to reality, but no, it's a blessing. It's the only way to bring them to life. It's And finally, our most distant celestial influence, our very own dwarf planet, Pluto. So Saturn builds incessantly, and Pluto destroys.
[00:11:31] Pluto rules revolution and change on an epic level. There's definitely beef between these two planets, but when they're happy with each other, Saturn and Pluto can facilitate massive, lasting, positive transformation through meticulously crafted structure. If you're going through a major life or business change, Saturn's influence can help you build a brilliant, better, shiny new foundation for whatever transformation Pluto is guiding you towards.
[00:11:57] It's absolutely lovely. Okay, so Saturn has an intense relationship with the other planets. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's tough, and unsurprisingly, therefore, Saturn is strongly associated with the square aspect, which in astrology represents tensions and challenges. And while squares can feel like unsurmountable roadblocks when you first smack into them, they're really opportunities for growth.
[00:12:23] All of them. Everyone. Everyone. Just like with Saturn, the squaring aspect seems hard and frustrating at first, but what you learn from moving through it and working with its energy instead of fighting against it, is worth so much more than those easy transits.
[00:12:38] Now, when facing a square, you're being asked to confront the hard truths and do the work to overcome difficult obstacles. In business, that could mean facing up to financial realities. That's super hard. I know all about that. Restructuring your operations. Yuck. For those of us who are averse to such things.
[00:12:55] Uh, or, you know, having those difficult conversations that you've been avoiding. Also, super, super difficult. Like, that all sounds terrible, right? Especially if you have avoidant tendencies like I do, and you're really wrapped up in your vision, and then your brand, and the aesthetics, and the creativity. But no, no, no, no, my friends.
[00:13:14] Squares are actually where the magic happens, if you're willing to dig in and do the work. They force you to innovate. To think creatively and to become stronger as a result. And Saturnian squares, squares that involve Saturn in particular, they are all about building resilience through adversity.
[00:13:33] Saturn and squares build character. Blech. But also they're both the reason you're an interesting, nuanced, complex, and resourceful human. You want to know something fun? The people who make the biggest splash and create the most change and have the greatest impact, most of them have had really challenging lives.
[00:13:53] They've faced everything from systemic challenges in the form of racism, misogyny, anti queer discrimination, et cetera, or personal challenges like growing up in a challenging household or internal challenges
[00:14:04] like like grappling with a substance use or mental health disorder or difference. Finding ways to get through that incredibly hard, oftentimes unfair shit defines you as a survivor of whatever life slings at you. And if you look at these people's natal charts, you'll see tons of squares and oppositions and tricky conjunctions and all kinds of weird crap.
[00:14:27] You may long for a chart that's full of easy trines, But the problem folks with an easy life tend to run into is a lack of growth and stagnation and never being challenged to become a more interesting person. I'll take a tough road any day. So if you're facing up against a tough square or a big heavy Saturnian transit, take heart.
[00:14:50] This is your chance to level up in a really big way. Now let's talk action. How do we take Saturnian energy and channel it into something tangible for your business? The first thing you can do is audit your systems. And I know how boring that sounds. I also know how triggering it can be to look at a part of your business that you've been avoiding, like the plague.
[00:15:12] But if Saturn is showing up for you, take the opportunity to take a hard look at your business operations. Are your systems and processes supporting your growth, or are they barely holding it all together? If you're relying on duct tape and prayer to keep things running, it's time to refine your workflows, set up automations, and even start planning to hire an operations manager if you're at that stage of your business to help bring a little order to your chaos.
[00:15:37] And whether you're there yet or not, Hiring an ops person should be on your growth roadmap, because as you expand your business, you don't want to be bogged down in systems maintenance. All right, the second thing to do is set clear boundaries. Saturn is all about boundaries. Reassess your client agreements, redefine your availability, and make sure you're not overextending yourself.
[00:15:59] Burnout is so very real, y'all, and a dead eyed, exhausted you is the absolute last thing your business needs. Protect your time, protect your energy, and protect your attention like the precious resources they are. Saturn is the planet of no, which makes it sound bad, but say it like you mean it
[00:16:20] saying no is one of the most important skills you'll ever have to develop as a business owner. And finally, you're going to want to commit to long term goals. when Saturn comes around. Saturn loves a well thought out plan. So set concrete, measurable goals for the next year, the next three years, and the next five years.
[00:16:37] And these should all ladder up to your most ambitious vision for the future. Break these plans down into actionable steps and put them into your calendar or wherever you track your tasks. I use Notion databases because I'm a weird control person and Notion is also very pretty. Um, but you can do it wherever it makes sense for you.
[00:16:57] And don't feel like it's a waste of time to put all of those steps into place. Okay. Will they change over time as the situation evolves? And as you evolve, of course. And as things change, you'll update your system so that you keep a close eye on how you're tracking against your goals. Saturn rewards consistency and dedication.
[00:17:15] Notion. So become a votary of Saturn over any other planet because she's going to be the one who helps you get shit done. By embracing Saturn's director of operations energy, you're not just building a business, you're building a legacy. Saturn's influence may not be the most glamorous, but it's the backbone of your enterprise, ensuring that every step you take is strategic and steady and aligned with your long term vision.
[00:17:41] And we're all about aligned action over here. So go ahead, channel your inner Saturn, and build something that's not just successful, but sustainable and resilient and deeply aligned with who you are and what you're on this earth to do.
[00:18:03] Okay, it's transit time. First things first, welcome October. Easily the best month, fight me. Fall is in full blossom, or I guess I should say it's in brilliant, beautiful decay, especially out here in Pennsylvania, where the entire landscape looks like it's on fire this month. We're busting out our soups, we're drinking hot coffee and tea without sweating profusely, we're starting to get seriously cozy, and we're ramping up to the best holiday of the year, even though technically we don't get time off for it, which is completely ridiculous, but we're happy anyways, because that's right, Halloween is nigh.
[00:18:39] All right. On a very high level, October is just a touch slower than some of the previous months as far as number of major transits go. I will say that as we learned last week with all that mercury action, slower doesn't necessarily mean lighter or less intense, but it does provide a little more space to focus on taking the transits one or two at a time instead of like 10 things happening all at once.
[00:19:04] I count 26 meaningful transits in October, as opposed to 30 in September, 28 in August, and about 30 in July. It's not a huge difference, but I'm very grateful nonetheless. And of course, what we astrologers consider meaningful varies from person to person. So this is just from my perspective.
[00:19:22] It's my personal take. So let's talk about the quality of October. We've got a solar eclipse in Libra, closing out eclipse season. So we're exiting what some folks call the wormhole. It's that tumultuous and emotional and transformative period between the lunar eclipse that begins every eclipse season and the solar eclipse that closes it out.
[00:19:44] And we've got a Venus Saturn trine that is one of my all time faves for conducting level headed business. We've got a Mercury Jupiter trine that's excellent for thinking big. Jupiter is stationing retrograde, which is going to turn our expansion efforts inward for personal and professional growth.
[00:20:02] Pluto is stationing direct, finally turning our inner pull towards transformation outward. Towards our environment. And we've got a sun square with Pluto on the very day Scorpio season kicks off, which is fun, So we'll get into that further down the road. And of course, there's so much more unfolding throughout the month.
[00:20:20] October's full moon is taking place in Aries. I mean, in general, there's plenty to take in and we're going to face some challenges this month. Now let's jump into a vibe check for the week. We've got big momentum coming off of the Mars Saturn trine that both closes out last week and kicks off this one with a super busy little Sun Mercury conjunction hot on its heels.
[00:20:42] And then wham, we have our second eclipse, closing out eclipse season with a big splash of Libra energy. Don't worry. As eclipses go, this one's surprisingly stabilizing, even as it prompts transformation. Then we benefit from further steadiness, thanks to Venus trining Saturn.
[00:20:59] A very different Saturn trine from the one we saw with Mars. Let's use this awesome stabilizing energy to get through a sudden turn for the touchy in the wee hours of Sunday morning during a challenging and Extra Krabby Mercury Square to Mars. This week is completely dominated by Libra, who's currently the sign housing Mercury, the sun, and the moon from Tuesday until Friday, when the moon ingresses into Scorpio, just in time to add some emotional weight to Venus and Scorpio training Saturn.
[00:21:28] So in short, Libra. This is all in all a productive ass week. We're mowing through our to do lists. We're charming the pants off our customers and clients. We're creating systems and foundations all while we move through an eclipse that prompts us to release our heaviest baggage as we emerge as a new, more badass business owner.
[00:21:47] Now let me give you a little more context here. Next week is very transit dense, not this upcoming week I'm talking about, the week after. So while this week's energy is no walk in the park, you can appreciate the lack of chaos at least. Focus on working with the energies of these transits one at a time, and you'll accomplish a lot.
[00:22:07] Okay, let's get started with the transit we ended with on last week's episode, because it takes place just after midnight Eastern time on Monday, September 30th. And as such, it technically happens on Sunday for US time zones further west. So it's straddled the fence between weeks and impacts both. You know, it adds to the story of both weeks.
[00:22:29] So let's review. On Sunday, September 29th at 9. PM Pacific and Monday at 12. 06 AM Eastern, Mars trines Saturn with Mars at 14 degrees and 25 minutes of Cancer. Sad, that's a sign of his fall. And Saturn at 14 degrees and 25 minutes of Pisces. Okay, so Mars is the planet of action, but it usually isn't very controlled action, which can blow back in your face.
[00:22:57] Getting shit done is only progress if the shit you get done is relevant to whatever goal you're trying to accomplish, right? So if you're just doing random stuff, that doesn't count. But when Mars trines with Saturn, All the fiery, impulsive momentum from Mars gets expertly channeled by Saturn's structure.
[00:23:13] Imagine Saturn building a super stable cosmic ladder that lets you climb to new heights, smashing through obstacles along the way like they're made of tissue paper. I'm looking at you, glass ceiling. You're going down. This is Mars at her most outrageously productive, with Saturn acting like a cosmic project manager, helping you focus all that action into real, tangible progress.
[00:23:34] So what's your biggest obstacle this week? Is it a boring admin backlog? A challenging project that's been gathering dust in the corner somewhere? Or is it something you've been avoiding because it stirs up uncomfortable feels? Like guilt. and dread. Whatever it is, this Mars Saturn trine is here to help you absolutely obliterate it.
[00:23:55] Aim your cosmic firehose directly at that problem and go full force. This transcendent isn't just about plowing through tasks, it's about blasting past them with precision and clarity. And surprisingly, this trine is fantastic for detail work. Because who knew Mars could do finesse? To be fair, 95 percent of the time, he really can't.
[00:24:15] But, with Saturn's structured energy helping Mars stay on track, you're extra supported in nailing those finicky, fiddly little tasks and executing your plans with deftness and skill. So whether it's taking on annoying busywork or finally tackling that thankless, fear inducing task that you've been dodging for ages, this transit has your back.
[00:24:35] So make every drop of this potent cosmic energy count. And just a heads up, Saturn isn't done helping us out this week. On Friday, Venus forms her own trine with Saturn, which allows us to see a very different, yet still positive and supportive, face of Saturn. If Mars and Saturn are all about getting things done, Venus and Saturn are more about building relationships and further stabilizing your strategic mind.
[00:24:59] So stay tuned. We're about to see a softer, more grounded side of trining Saturn. Lovely.
[00:25:05] Alright, later in the day on Monday, we've got a Sun Mercury conjunction taking place at 2. 09pm Pacific, 5. 09pm Eastern, with the Sun and Mercury meeting up at 8 degrees and 11 minutes of Libra. This transit is all about your mind being supercharged with the power of the sun. Last time we saw this transit back in August, Mercury was in retrograde, but with Mercury now stationed direct, blessedly, this conjunction is the perfect time to use your extra sharpened focus to tackle admin tasks
[00:25:36] and get your business communications in order. You'll find it easier to articulate your ideas and express yourself clearly, which is great for any kind of detailed work that needs both precision and creativity. The Mars Saturn trine happening earlier in the day adds some serious momentum and structural support to this conjunction.
[00:25:54] So while the Sun and Mercury are firing up your intellect, Mars and Saturn are providing the discipline and stamina you need to actually follow through. Which is more than half the battle if you're like me and have tons of amazing ideas all the time, but very iffy access to executive function. Hello ADHD.
[00:26:12] Uh, this means this transit isn't just about having bright ideas. You have a special opportunity to draw on Mars plus Saturn's energy and drive to actually execute them.
[00:26:23] Hell yeah. And on top of that, this Sun Mercury conjunction is taking place in the lovely air sign of Libra, bringing balance and level headedness into the mix. Some foreshadowing for you, this is great preparation for, and perhaps a nice gentle entry point to, the solar eclipse in Libra, coming up on Wednesday.
[00:26:43] This week is dominated by Libra, as I mentioned before. Half of the relevant celestial bodies are in residence in the sign of the scales. So, measured efforts are the name of the game. Think of it like having your brain powered up and your workflow streamlined. This is a fantastic opportunity to get caught up on emails, paperwork,
[00:27:01] and any lingering admin you have on your list. Historically, this conjunction boosts skills like letter writing, which I find a delightful fact. So if you've got messages to send or contracts to review, today is the day. Seize it. Don't let it slip by. It's way too valuable for that. Okay, all that said, don't get too wrapped up in your own head on Monday.
[00:27:22] The intense focus of this conjunction can make it really easy to get so absorbed in your thoughts that you forget to check in with the world around you. You're literally casting the light of your sun, your consciousness and attention directly onto and into your mind. Your brain will literally be glowing with impetus.
[00:27:42] If you're deep in the zone, make sure to come up for air every so often and get some outside perspective, literally just like go take a walk or chat with someone just reset your mental space.
[00:27:53] You can also get wrapped up in the internal glowy fuzzies and stop really paying attention to the facts. feedback from outside, ignoring important information about the impact your actions are having on the world around you. If you radiate your light outward too hard, it might be too bright for you to be able to really notice what gets reflected back.
[00:28:12] And that's a problem. You need to be receptive and sensitive to what's going on around you. So your action for this transit is to tackle communication to do's. Use this powerful focused energy to knock out any admin tasks that you've been procrastinating on, particularly ones.
[00:28:29] That involve communicating with others. If you're someone who has a tendency to get a little overwhelmed or even triggered by going through emails, uh, listening to voicemails, following up on missed calls and all that other absolutely terrifying shit. If you feel that way too, you're in really good company.
[00:28:46] A lot of us got out of the office work game because the pressure of being on call with a whole team of people, it was just too much. So you're seen. Okay, and on Monday, whether it's emails, legal matters, or business planning, you're extra supported in handling the boring and even terrifying, but ultimately crucial work that is supporting your bigger goals.
[00:29:08] The support from the Mars Sun Trine ensures that you won't just get started, you'll have a much better chance of following through and getting it done. So, go on, attack with vigor. All right. Buckle up, buttercups, because on Wednesday, October 2nd, at 11. 49pm Pacific, 2. 49am Eastern, we've got a solar eclipse taking place as the sun and moon conjoin at 10 degrees and 4 minutes of Libra.
[00:29:34] Solar eclipses are always powerful, of course. The second in every pair that occur during eclipse season, and this one is no exception. When the sun and moon join forces, they align both your conscious will and your emotional world, lighting up a specific area of your life, and by extension, of course, your business.
[00:29:53] This isn't your average new moon, right? With this eclipse, we get that classic Libra vibe turned up to 11. Libra rules over balance, equality, and the kind of level headedness that thrills in keeping things fair and harmonious. It's a lovely vibe, but don't get too comfortable because eclipses are famous for throwing us curveballs.
[00:30:14] It's like the cosmos giving you a gentle, or perhaps not so gentle, nudge to shake things up and break out of patterns that no longer serve you. Personally.
[00:30:23] The kicker here is that this eclipse is flavored by the powerfully focused and Libra based Mercury Sun conjunction that we talked about happening earlier in the week, and then just hours after the eclipse, Mercury is going to conjoin the Moon at 3. 21pm Pacific, 6. 21pm Eastern. This means there's a lot of mental and emotional energy swirling around making this eclipse a major turning point for how you think, communicate, and make decisions about your business from a heart led, yet level headed place.
[00:30:54] Thank you, Libra. For a cosmic event that usually inspires a bit of chaos, this one's more likely to feel grounding than usual, thanks to Libra's anchoring presence. This one's With this potent mix of energies, you're being invited to get crystal clear on your day to day life, especially when it comes to your work life balance. LOL, I can hear what you're thinking. Balance? Who is she? That's completely normal for us solopreneurs.
[00:31:19] But it's also one of the most important elements of your business to get as close to right as possible, as early as possible. So, where are things out of alignment? Where have you been sacrificing too much for too little return? Mercury's presence ensures that you'll be thinking through the practicalities of how you live and work, and the eclipse energy push you to recalibrate, refocus, and, if necessary, rewrite some of the rules that you've been living by.
[00:31:47] Now here's where it gets even more interesting. This is a south node eclipse. Every eclipse season takes place at either the north or the south lunar node. This season is southern and the south node deals with your past your habits, beliefs, and even relationships that might be keeping you stuck.
[00:32:04] It's all about recognizing what you need to leave behind in order to grow into your future self. Normally, I'd say that kind of work is full moon territory. Release and let it all go, but the thing with eclipses is that they mix things up a little bit, and condense timelines. We're manifesting as we release, calling in new goals and visions for a business while we're shedding the old baggage that's been weighing us down.
[00:32:29] It's complex and highly, highly transformative, echoing that Pluto powered metamorphic energy we experienced a couple weeks ago.
[00:32:36] And that might very well still be impacting your experience even now. So think of this eclipse as a moment to manifest from a place of deep clarity. It's not just about calling in what you want, but getting real about what's holding you back. Be honest. What's cluttering up your energy? What's keeping you from showing up fully as the badass CEO you're destined to be?
[00:32:58] This isn't an easy question to answer. And the answer might not be easy to face, but it is the key question you need to be asking yourself on a regular basis as you blossom into a more and more powerful business owner. What's in my way, really? Spoiler alert, it might be some part of yourself, and that's where the real work begins.
[00:33:22] Now, let's not forget that this is all happening with the Saturn Mars trine energy still in play. Mars and Saturn are lending structure and momentum to whatever changes you're ready to make. It's like you've got a cosmic construction team at your disposal, ready to help you build or rebuild whatever structures you need to support your new vision.
[00:33:43] You've got the drive to act. Thanks, Mars. And the discipline to follow through. I see you, Saturn. And it's a powerful combination that's going to keep you grounded and focused as you navigate this intense eclipse energy.
[00:33:55] And we've got another gorgeous urian water trine book ending the eclipse to look forward to talk about an empowering week. Alright, here's your action step for the eclipse. Take a moment to check in with yourself and your business. Where are you holding onto old habits, fears, or even people that are keeping you stuck in place?
[00:34:15] Choose one way to step into your future self right now. It could be anything from finally saying no to that draining client to letting go of a limiting belief that's been holding you back. The point is to consciously release something that's no longer serving you and to replace it with an action that aligns with the powerful visionary CEO you're becoming.
[00:34:35] You've heard me say it before, you'll hear me say it again, be her now, step into the mindset, the courage, the behaviors of who you're meant to become and channel her energy in some way right now. And remember, you don't have to do it all at once. In fact, you can't pick one thing, one belief, one habit, one action.
[00:34:56] That'll bring you closer to who you're meant to be. And the rest will follow. This is your moment to manifest and release simultaneously. Stepping boldly into your next chapter with clarity and purpose. You got this. All right. Let's talk about Friday, October 4th, when Venus forms a gorgeous supportive trine with Saturn at 10.
[00:35:17] 04 AM Pacific, 1. 04 PM Eastern. We love a venous transit on a Friday because that's her day and it's one of the best days. Venus will be at 14 degrees and seven minutes of Scorpio while Saturn holds steady at 14 degrees and seven minutes of PIs.
[00:35:32] This creates a deep, emotionally resonant water trine, and with the moon freshly ingressed into Scorpio, we've got some seriously potent vibes for grounding your business relationships and systems in real, meaningful value.
[00:35:47] Venus and Scorpio is about deep, authentic connection. And this energy applies to your business, too. It's not just about looking pretty on social media, although we love a good aesthetic, right? Branding is important and Venus's influence also extends to how you magnetize your clients and engage with your audience, and perhaps most importantly, how you deliver value through your offerings.
[00:36:11] Venus is our values, remember, and that's values like our ethics, as well as values like material value, how much something is worth to us and others. Saturn, on the other hand, provides the structure and stability to channel Venus's charm and magnetism into systems of attraction that truly support your business with some extra influential psychic power coming from his current seat in Pisces.
[00:36:36] Just like Saturn did with Mars, where Saturn's structure channeled the wild momentum of the red planet, in this Venus Saturn trine, Saturn. Saturn's structure is channeling Venus's powers of attraction to extremely productive ends. And one of the most beautiful things about Venus, and one of my favorite things about her, is how she bridges the gap between client attraction and client retention.
[00:36:59] It's not enough to just do a great job of drawing people in. You then need to keep them engaged, and interested, and invested. You need to back it up. And it's not easy at all. What's easy is finding yourself with a bunch of people whose curiosity is piqued but not enough of a grasp of how to deliver your product to them in a way that keeps them glued to their seats.
[00:37:20] I had a big aha moment a couple years back when I was reading up on adult learning design, like a giant nerd, and my revelation was that the principles of keeping people engaged in an educational setting also apply to how you attract and maintain client relationships. in a business. Whether you're onboarding a new client or hosting a webinar or creating a marketing or other communications campaign, the way you initially draw people in has a lot to do with how you have to then keep them engaged and connected over time.
[00:37:50] Marketing and retention aren't actually two separate fields or arms of your business at all. They're a continuum. One flows seamlessly Into the other, or at least it should. This Venus Saturn trine is here to help you improve on that dynamic in your business.
[00:38:06] As a coach and consultant who specializes in developing super delicious, juicy, effective products like courses and group coaching programs. I could talk for actual months about how the same recipe that gives you great marketing can also give you great retention and great outcomes for your clients, as both are a function of magnetism.
[00:38:26] And someday I will. I will release some programming around the techniques you can use to create an attraction and retention system that seriously blows people's socks off. But that's for another time. And in the meantime, for the purpose of preparing you best to leverage this transit's energy, I want to take a moment to share a take on Venus provided by one of my all time favorite OG astrologers, Gail Fairfield.
[00:38:49] She calls Venus the charmer. Which perfectly captures the ability of this planet to both attract and retain, not through force, not through logic, but through charisma and through the magic of casting charm. Charm is like a thrall. You remember how vampires are, uh, Known to cast a thrall on humans where as soon as a vampire enters the room, you can't take your eyes off them.
[00:39:12] Even if you know what they are, you can't help but be drawn to them. Well, Venus supports us in doing a significantly less nefarious version of a thrall. Well, less nefarious if you're selling something that actually helps your clients. For the companies out there selling bullshit with slick advertising full of emotional manipulation.
[00:39:30] Yeah, that's an awful lot like a vampire. In any case, there's a kind, responsible version of this as well. Exuding a thrall is a key part of marketing well and keeping your clients close. The quality of your product, of course, has a huge role to play here, too. But how you share that product and how you or your team communicate about it, it's all interwoven and all absolutely critical to getting both you and your client amazing results, which is the goal, right?
[00:39:58] charm is key to your magnetic powers. And this chine is a perfect opportunity to harness that charm for building those strong, sustainable business relationships. With Saturn in the mix, you're not just charming for charm's sake. You're creating real lasting bonds based on mutual respect and trust.
[00:40:15] You're not a vampire. Quite the opposite. Your Venusian powers imbue whomever's in your thrall with vitality. So they're actually better positioned to blossom and grow than before they came into your world. And Saturn is right there helping you stay grounded, keeping things realistic and preventing you from getting swept away by the drama that can be such a challenging part of how Venus operates, like making assumptions or Indulging in fantasies about what other people are thinking that can lead you to unnecessary tensions and suspicion and otherwise completely destroy the gentle power of your thrall.
[00:40:52] This energy is great for delivering excellent results to your clients or students or audience and for navigating business negotiations with a clear and balanced mind. You'll find it much easier to build and maintain the practical relationships that form the bedrock of your business, which, You know, while they might not be the stuff of romance novels, exactly, Thrall or No, uh, those practical relationships are precisely what you need in order to form the solid foundation of a thriving business.
[00:41:21] So let's talk action steps. This is the perfect time to strengthen an important relationship in your business. Here's an easy way to do this, because we're all about simple and impactful over here. Show your appreciation in a meaningful way. Send a heartfelt thank you gift to a key client, offer a freebie or a discount to your loyal customers, or take a trusted collaborator or partner out for lunch.
[00:41:45] If you're working with a team, consider how you can show them love and support through meaningful actions, not just token gestures. And on that note, if you've been meaning to set up better support systems for your employees, like creating benefits packages or implementing a more supportive work environment, this is the transit to make it happen.
[00:42:03] Use Venus's heartfelt energy combined with Saturn's practical vibes to build structures that genuinely show your team that you care. The thrall isn't just externally facing, it should spread across your entire business and boost the well being and passion for the work that you do throughout your whole team.
[00:42:21] And I'm not talking about throwing them a pizza party. This is about investing in your people in a way that boosts their personal and professional well being on a fundamental level, and as such, boost their trust in you as their leader. Whether it's adding health benefits or implementing flexible schedules or offering personal development resources or all of the above,
[00:42:42] these actions are going to build a strong, loyal foundation for your team. Charm starts on the inside and it works its way out. So fix the systems in your business and increase your magnetism. Let Venus and Saturn help you create something beautiful, balanced, and lasting in your business. This energy is all about integrating heart and structure.
[00:43:02] So go ahead and show your people some love. And your systems. Systems need love too. Alright, and after all that lovely charm and beauty, it's time to say goodbye. Brace yourself, because on Saturday, October 5th at 11. 37pm Pacific, or Sunday, October 6th at 2. 37am Eastern, we're capping off the week with a pretty fiery transit that's a significant shift.
[00:43:26] Mercury square Mars. It's like a cosmic boxing match, where Mercury, sitting at 17 degrees and 34 minutes of Libra, faces off against Mars at 17 degrees and 34 minutes of Cancer. So this is sad bummer Mars. This is not exactly the easiest energy to work with. Uh, as a matter of fact, it's likely to feel pretty touchy
[00:43:48] why? Because your mind, represented by Mercury, is squaring off against your body and instincts, courtesy of Mars. It's like your thoughts and actions are suddenly no longer on speaking terms, and that can create a lot of tension and frustration, and yeah, even anger. With this transit, you might find yourself easily irritated and really ready to lash out, which is not exactly the vibe that we want to carry into our businesses.
[00:44:13] In fact, it's a total charm killer. So be careful not to undo any of the careful work that you've done to strengthen bonds under that gorgeous Venus Saturn trine on Friday. And let's be real, we've all been there. something small sets us off and we end up snapping at somebody who didn't actually deserve it.
[00:44:31] Under this square, that risk is multiplied, as is the consequence. And you might catch yourself reacting way more defensively than you usually do to even the slightest hint of criticism. It's not just a bad day for you. It's a bad day for your communication. When your intellect, aka Mercury, and your physical and emotional responses, aka Mars, uh, when they're clashing, it's way too easy to blow up over something that's either not a big deal, or if it is a big deal, then blowing up is definitely not the best way to address it.
[00:45:05] It certainly never solves any problems, does it? Let's also talk about the fact that Mars is in cancer here. As I've mentioned, this is a sign of its fall , which means that Mars' usual, assertive. Take charge energy can get redirected into a more passive aggressive and moody kind of expression.
[00:45:22] So think of Cancer the crab's protective shell. Normally it's a place of safety, but in this situation it turns into, uh, like a fortified bunker for simmering and stewing and festering in your emotions, and this can make you feel like you're under attack even when you're not, and you might find yourself snapping or retreating defensively without even realizing that you're doing it.
[00:45:45] So if you're feeling a bit raw, or like your buttons are being pushed this weekend, know that this transit is amplifying all of those touchy, crabby feelings. So what do you do with all this charged up energy? First, don't even think about engaging in any sort of heated communication, especially not with colleagues, or clients, or your audience, or anyone who you're in business with.
[00:46:06] Save yourself the potential damage control later and back away from the keyboard, the phone, the Zoom call, whatever might tempt you to fire off that spicy email or vent your frustrations on social media or anything else, super inappropriate.
[00:46:19] Instead, use the Mars energy constructively. Physical activity is your friend here. I mean, really work it out, hit the gym, take a long run, play some sports Uh, anything really that gets your body moving and releases some of that pent up aggression. And bonus points if it's something that also engages your mind, like team sports or martial arts, or even a strategic game like chess, anything that forces you to focus and channel that fiery energy productively, or at the very least, in a non harmful, non relationship damaging way.
[00:46:53] That's the key. So action steps. If you've been bottling up anger or you get to the end of the week or the weekend and you feel like you're constantly on the defensive, now's the time to let it out in a safe and controlled way. Choose a physical outlet that demands both mental and physical engagement, ideally, like a super intense workout or a sparring session or even a challenging hike or bike ride.
[00:47:17] The goal here is to release the tension from your body so that your mind can clear it out too. This will help you avoid the pitfall of lashing out in a way that you'll regret later. And remember, This is a weekend to give your email inbox a wide berth and keep potentially heated conversations completely on ice.
[00:47:34] Use the frustration as fuel to move your body and clear your head. And hey, if you find yourself tempted to engage in a heated debate, just take a deep breath and walk away. Let Mars feel the burn at the gym, not in your business relationships. Stay grounded. Stay cool, and I'll see you on the other side of this transit with all that energy worked out and ready to be channeled into something much more productive.
[00:47:58] Alright, so that does it for the transits this week. As mentioned before, there's not a lot of them, but they're pretty heavy duty. So be kind to yourself as you navigate them. And now I'm going to do a quick transit recap.
[00:48:11] Just to get you extra prepared to enter into the week. All right, on Monday, Mars trines Saturn. Channel your fiery drive into structured action. Tackle that big obstacle that you've been avoiding and completely obliterate it. Later in the day on Monday, the Sun conjoins Mercury.
[00:48:30] Supercharge your communication and get those admin tasks done with Mars and Saturn backing you up. You've got the discipline to actually see it through. On Wednesday, we've got a solar eclipse in Libra. Manifest transformation by releasing what no longer serves you.
[00:48:47] It's a powerful moment to get clear. and step into your future self in a level headed and practical way. Perfect for business. And then on Friday, Venus trines Saturn. Strengthen your business relationships and build supportive systems. Charm and stability make for a winning combination here.
[00:49:07] And then between Saturday and Sunday, Mercury squares Mars. Watch out for defensive communication. Exercise that pent up energy through physical activity. And avoid heated conversations at all costs. All right. Remember, October is a month of transformation, recalibration, and yes, a lot of magic.
