[00:00:26] Welcome back, everybody. Welcome to this. Week's astrological transits, which start today Wednesday. So don't worry. We didn't miss anything big at the beginning of the week. And in fact this week is pretty quiet. All things considered, which is kind of nice. So let's get started with a vibe check for the week.
[00:00:44] Shall we? What is the energy like? In short. It's good. Great. Even we've only got three major happenings to take a look at, and I'm expanding that to four because there's some cool stuff going on on Sunday that benefits from a lunar transit. That happens to add some very awesome energy to the mix. All of the major transits happening this week are supportive in one way or another.
[00:01:08] Even the square coming up on Thursday, which is special because most of the time squares cause more challenges for us than ease or support. Mercury and Jupiter are both very present this week. And for mercury that's normal because it crosses our sky so quickly. Thanks to being relatively close by and fast moving.
[00:01:28] But for Jupiter that's special. So let's soak in Jupiter's big, expansive, good energy. While we have so much of it to enjoy this week. And there's plenty to soak in because Jupiter is rocking our world in three of this week's four transits bringing awesome expansive vibes, even as it forms that one square I mentioned earlier. Jupiter is freedom. Limitlessness optimism. Jupiter's sort of like the wondering philosopher, who's just kind of here to bop around and have a good time. Jupiter is more in essence, which in many contexts is a good thing. More clients more sign-ups more money. More growth. On the other hand, it can be easy to overdo more and suddenly we find ourselves overextended over tired and over. It. Over it exhausted, spent. Done. Luckily Jupiter is largely supportive this week. So there's so much to look forward to. But first we have a mercury Mars sextile on Wednesday today, September 11th at 11:42 PM.
[00:02:39] Eastern. 8:42 PM. Pacific mercury will form a sextile to Mars with mercury at four degrees and 22 minutes of Virgo and Mars at four degrees and 22 minutes of cancer. When mercury and Mars support each other. Get ready to get to the bottom of some stuff in your business. Mercury sextile. Mars. We'll have you bursting with the energy and momentum to follow your curiosity?
[00:03:05] As far as it can go. So be aware of rabbit holes. You may need a reminder to come up for breath. If you have a tendency to lose time, like those of us with ADHD and other neuro spiciness that enables the occasional over the top, hyper-focused binge, um, Mercury's focused inquisitiveness and interested newness.
[00:03:25] Plus Mars is a breakneck momentum. Can have you trying to figure out how in the world it can possibly be three o'clock in the morning, all of a sudden. And that's always fun. Isn't it? That moment when you're. Like it is mathematically impossible for me to get enough rest, to not be a complete train wreck today.
[00:03:42] So here we go. , mercury Mars sextile also gives you a boost of energy when it comes to making connections. So that can be strategic or it can be social connections to. Expect some things to just sorta come together for you on and around today, Wednesday. Things may just seem to fall into place as your mercury directed Mars fueled brain goes to work on finding solutions or thinking of impactful next steps. On the social side, this transit can help you make connections with other people in your business, especially by giving you the cohesiveness to face the difficult situations, sextiles deliver a Sparky sort of energy that can give you the extra push to deal with challenges that you are dreading like scary moments where you have to look at your money and you know, what's going to be bad.
[00:04:31] Or if you have to break bad news to somebody and watch their face fall, or hear it in their voice or feel it through their email, those are really hard. Hard moments. As a person who works very hard to combat a strong tendency towards avoidance of unpleasant or emotionally fraught situations. I love this transit.
[00:04:51] It helps me face fears and do things like finally address that email that's been sitting there for way too long. Or make that call to break the disappointing news to a, uh, a partner or a client. These kinds of moments are an inherent part of the work that we do as coaches, as consultants, as professionals in general, and as small business owners and when mercury and Mar support each other, it's just a little bit easier to get through those tough times. Now let's talk about the signs backgrounding, this transit for just a minute. Mercury is in Virgo, which makes for an extra powerful mercurial vibe because mercury rules Virgo the way you'll see most astrologers.
[00:05:33] Talk about this is that mercury isn't in XL tation. In the sign of Virgo. So mercury is even more analytical, even more interested in problem solving and more curious and more logical and more solution oriented. Mercury is in the zone. Which makes it that much likelier that you are going to find yourself in the zone mid week, focusing your ass off and just getting it done.
[00:05:56] It's pretty awesome. Mars on the other hand is in cancer, which is not it's sign of excitation. Quite the opposite. In fact, a and we call a planet in its sign with the most opposed, possible energy. Uh, being in it's fall and that's what's going on with Mars in cancer. But I don't know. I don't think that has to be a bad thing necessarily, especially when the cool waters of cancer are soothing, that intensity of Mars. Mars in cancer still pursues him But with empathy and plenty of nurturing for others and for himself.
[00:06:32] And that sounds good to me. But of course I'm a cancer son, so I am slightly biased. So we've got mercury and exfiltration and Mars and it's fall. What does that do to this transit? It pumps up the side and softens in the Martian side. And that means that the real star of his transit is mercury and the struggle of brain versus brawn here.
[00:06:56] Uh, intellection wins. And it's not really a struggle. Right. Mercury and Mars are forming a sextile, but Mars is in the backseat and mercury is driving. Mars and cancer is also sentimental and nostalgic. And that flavors Mercury's problem solving with a tendency towards retrospection. This is a great transit under which to do a post-mortem or any other kind of retrospective analysis. Turn your analytical eye to a recent launch, a campaign or any other major effort and assess performance against your goals. Try to come up with some hypotheses about why things went the way they did. Uh, whether they went to plan or more likely not.
[00:07:36] Right. A big part of running a business is making plans that just blow up right in your face. And mercury is always there asking you to be a scientist in these situations to figure out what you are meant to learn here and use that information to make your next attempt stronger. This is an incredibly important process for building a business that strengthens over time.
[00:07:57] So if you aren't in the habit of doing postmortems already use this opportunity to get started. You are well-supported even if it happens a little later in the week.
[00:08:07] Then just under seven hours later, early Thursday morning, the motivating energy continues this week is so fun. Uh, at 6:53 AM Eastern 3:53 AM Pacific on Thursday, September 12th. We've got a sun square to Jupiter with a son at 20 degrees and 10 minutes of Virgo and Jupiter at 20 degrees and 10 minutes of Gemini. This is one of those funny transits that can be great.
[00:08:33] And it can also be really rough depending on who you are and what's going on with you and your business right now. Squares are usually tough. But as with literally any transit whatsoever squares can at times be incredibly useful tools. If you can just figure out how to navigate them. Squares want you to learn something?
[00:08:52] So what is this one trying to teach us? When the sun, which is our will and our intention squares, Jupiter, the planet of growth expansion, and just general good luck. It can result in a blast of energy that can rocket you ahead in any direction you choose. That's aided by more of that Virgo energy we were feeling on Wednesday because the sun is in Virgo, alongside mercury Virgo supports a continuation of your focused, productive, analytical mindset, guiding you forward with thoughtfulness and rationality. Gemini add some versatility and ability to engage in dialogue and explore possibilities into the mix.
[00:09:31] I'll get deeper into Jupiter and Gemini in the next set of transits, but long story short, it's a treat for entrepreneurs because it guides open thinking, which is a huge boon to us folks who need to keep our resourcefulness at hands. at all times. All right. So we've got the sun in Virgo and Jupiter and Gemini revving our engines. A couple of considerations for you to keep in mind as you prepare for liftoff. Consideration one. Make sure you point yourself in the right direction. Or that you're pointing yourself in any direction at all. To capitalize on this transit.
[00:10:04] You need to make sure that you have something concrete to do, because otherwise that energy is going to come. And you might end up jumping from task to task, just puttering around and ultimately wasting it because you weren't able to focus it. So point yourself in a direction that aligns with your goals.
[00:10:21] Last week, we talked a lot about the importance of taking, not just any action, but aligned action that actually advances you in the direction of your small goals, which should ladder up into your big goals, which should ultimately path you directly towards your dreams. And if that's not how you've organized your goals, then drop what you're doing and go spend some time creating a strategic plan that orients all of your business activities towards your dream for the future.
[00:10:45] Okay. Okay. So when you're in the thrall of this incredible pulse of energy on Thursday, what I'm saying is just make sure you've set yourself up to have a project to focus on and channel all that good momentum towards it. And that brings us to consideration to. Square's involving Jupiter tend to bring a degree of risk that may come as a surprise for those of us who are used to seeing Jupiter as an entirely benevolent entity. And that makes sense, because it usually is. Uh, the problem comes when Jupiter's expansive powers go overboard and we go to big. So think about yeasted bread dough that expands as it proves into a sticky, fluffy cloud of deliciousness.
[00:11:27] If the yeast is nice and active, the bread dough will double or even triple in volume during proofing, which yields a beautifully written loaf when baked. But if you let the yeasty dough expand too far, it'll collapse and burn through all of its expansive power, leaving your bread to bake up flat in the oven. Not so good. As my granny used to say too much of something is no good for nothing.
[00:11:51] And that counts for good things as well. In other words, it is entirely possible with tricky aspects of Jupiter to wind up with too much of a good thing. Think about when all of a sudden an amazing opportunity falls into your lap. And then another one does and then another, when it rains, it pours, right.
[00:12:10] We've all had this happen. And if you're like me, next thing you know, you're over committing to all three opportunities in a frenzy of somewhat misguided enthusiasm. That is always. Always temporary. And then as you get to work, you inevitably have to face the reality that you're of course, but a mere human and your energy is in fact very limited. And maybe you don't really want to do any of it anymore because you're just totally overwhelmed and then comes the regret and the dread and the avoidance and, you know, the drill. This is exactly the kind of situation to keep an eye out for during a sun Jupiter square. Jupiter is always setting us up to bite off more than we can chew.
[00:12:50] And that's a dangerous game for business owners, you know, better than anyone, how important it is to pace yourself and allocate your time wisely. So if you find yourself saying yes to everything, Take note and start saying no. Along similar lines, lean into your generosity, which will flourish under this transit.
[00:13:08] But watch out for that moment, when you tip into extravagance, Jupiter can lead us straight into trouble with self-control because Jupiter's energy works as an accelerant. Specifically, what I'm talking about here is getting caught up in the pleasure of helping other people out. Which is what most of us went into business to do at the very core to help other people. Don't let your offer to help someone else out.
[00:13:30] Suddenly turn into you taking entire projects off their plate that you probably don't have time for. In the moment, it can feel amazing to swoop in and save somebody, but inevitably in the cold, harsh light of the following morning, for me, you'll have the realization that you just helped someone out at your own expense.
[00:13:49] They might even have been taking advantage of you, whether purposefully or most likely not. Um, but they just sensed your generosity and gravitated towards it in their state of panic. This has happened to me a million times. It's a lesson that for whatever reason, I'm still struggling to learn and internalize despite being aware that it's a problem for me for probably the past 15 years.
[00:14:10] So if you do fall into this trap, I'll be right there with you. Just don't get stuck down there with the repeat incidents. One step that's helped me to stop this dynamic in its tracks. Is that when that project is over, I've gone to that person. I was helping and let them know that I was happy to help. And that now I'm super busy, so they'll need to reassume responsibility for any feedback or further development that ends up needing to happen on that project in the future.
[00:14:37] And then just make a mental note to make sure that the next time this specific person approaches you, you're already prepared to say. Unfortunately, I'm slammed this week. When the sun squares, Jupiter, and your will challenges your growth, you can wind up grabbing at any and every opportunity to get ahead, to help out, to pitch in every single opportunity that crosses your path.
[00:14:58] And the irony is that in overextending yourself, you end up getting in your own way. Sun squared, Jupiter challenged. You challenges no. And if you can't find a way to do that, you wind up pushing too far, too fast. Your number one action to take to work peacefully with this transit is to do your best to pace yourself.
[00:15:17] You got this.
[00:15:19] Then Friday and Saturday are quiet aside from the moon who always has something going on and we don't want to ignore her, but she's a busy lady forming exact transits almost every single day. Oftentimes multiple transits over a 24 hour period. And we just can't keep up with her hustle.
[00:15:35] So we usually choose not to try. Uh, so fast forward to Sunday, when we have one of the loveliest days astrologically of the entire year, it starts at 1:34 AM Eastern. So actually 10:34 PM on Saturday night for Pacific time folks. And at that moment, Venus and Jupiter will form a super supportive trine with Venus at 20 degrees and 24 minutes of Libra and Jupiter at 20 degrees and 24 minutes of Gemini. And then later in the day at 2:05 PM Eastern 11:05 AM Pacific. The moon will form a trine to Jupiter. With the moon in Aquarius and Jupiter still in Gemini. So over the course of about a half day, Venus, Jupiter and the moon are forming something of a grand trine.
[00:16:22] In fact, Only two minutes apart. And by minutes, I don't mean cock time. I mean like the minutes in an astrological chart that referred to distance. So when I say Venus is at 20 degrees in 24 minutes of Libra, those degrees and minutes refer to physical distance. Two minutes is not far apart at all. And if these two trines were captured in a natal chart, which they actually will be when I think about it, Babies will definitely be born under this trine, which is super nice for them. Uh, so if we looked at the natal charts of babies born around this timeframe, we would consider this trying to be valid, even though it's not 100% exact.
[00:17:01] For the purposes of transit tracking day to day, we tend to mainly focus on exactitude, but Venus Jupiter and the moon are performing a tight enough dance that these two transits will impact each other energetically.
[00:17:12] And I wanted to make sure to call it out so you can channel as much of that beautiful energy as possible. First up, let's take a look at this utterly delicious Venus Jupiter trine. This is considered to be one of the most awesome, favorable, possible transits. And honestly, off the top of my head, I can't really think of a better one for just all around good vibes. Possibly a Venus Jupiter conjunction would compete. Because those are super lucky and they can be amazing for business, but they only lasts a day.
[00:17:40] They're very short and the Venus Jupiter trine graces us with good energy for a longer time about a week, which is a wonderful thing because this transit is about good times. Big fun and the pleasure of good company. Venus is our values, which includes what we care about and what has meaning to us. And along similar lines, Venus also stands for value. As in what things are worth.
[00:18:07] And when Jupiter, the planet of bigness and Morris gets involved in a supportive way, we experience a big boost to value collectively. Uh, we are able to get the most out of products, the most value out of experiences, out of conversations, relationships, basically everything we become excellent at finding and making use of the true value of anything we encounter. It should come as no surprise, then that Venus Jupiter trines are an awesome transit for money. And present a good time to make an investment and investment.
[00:18:41] Okay. Don't get carried away here because anytime Venus and Jupiter get together, your spending can get a bit out of control. So just be a little careful. This is also a good transit for radical rest. AKA a real vacation. Yes. I said real. I don't want you to do what I had a client do recently where they went on vacation. Quote, unquote and wound up taking care of everybody else in their family the whole time. That is not what we're doing on vacation. We are playing we're experiencing something new and expanding our horizons. We're embracing pleasure and we're ensuring our ability to do that by setting strong boundaries and making plans that make these important experiences almost inevitable. We are not taking things too seriously.
[00:19:22] Either Jupiter wants us to crack wise and Venus wants us to let our hair down. reserve for rest. Or try to anyways, truly take that to heart this week. If you do have to work or obviously around this transit. This may not be the best time to start on a new project.
[00:19:40] That'll take a lot of initiative and focus and energy input because you'll just be having too much of a fun and relaxing time to really follow through. Uh, so you know what, that'd be the case. Allow yourself to come down off the hook. But if some of the work you're doing is fun for you, like truly fun. I mean that, uh, as in it's something that you would really enjoy, even if you weren't making money from it. Then go to town, let yourself drift along with those feelings of expanding pleasure.
[00:20:08] Then about 13 hours later on the same Sunday, we have a moon Jupiter trine, this transits. feelings. The moon equals feelings. Jupiter equals good. Uh, trine is a supportive transit. So in essence, you will feel fantastic if you open yourself up to cosmic energy over the weekend. This transit just feels like big love, big love for yourself.
[00:20:32] Big love for others. It's such an awesome compliment to the Venus Jupiter trine going down in the morning. It's like Venus and Jupiter, get the party started. And then the moon chimes in to keep it going. Sunday morning is going to be lit. Y'all if you're not brunching. Then what are you really doing? I just love this for the end of our first, relatively quiet week in I think months. So just soak it in. And let me tell you something.
[00:20:58] The past two weeks have been utter chaos in my life. As I try to catch up after doing some travel, to visit family, and I've gotten into the unfortunate habit of waking up at 3:00 AM to get a solid three to four hours of quiet focus, work time in before my four year old wakes up. Uh, including on weekends and that's not a brag because we shouldn't do that. Um, we don't brag about running ourselves ragged.
[00:21:21] Like it's a virtuous thing. That's not healthy. And what I'm doing right now is not something to aspire to. I am proud of myself for getting things done, but I'm making notes about how to avoid this in the future, because it's sucks, really bad. The weather is gorgeous right now where I live. That beautiful end of summer warmth. Uh, tipping into autumn.
[00:21:40] And the only time I've been going outside is to pick up my kid from school and take him to karate or hit the grocery store. And that should ends with this Venus Jupiter moon. Perfect. Beautiful trine. Okay. Jupiter is like it's over girl. Rest. You did it. It's done now. And it's all taking place in air signs with the moon in Aquarius, Jupiter, and Gemini and Venus in Libra. Fun fact take place in a single sign element and air trines are a personal fav speaking as a Gemini moon and Aquarius rising. The element of air is connected to our mind, our thoughts and strategy. Air signs are intellectual curious and inventive and also prone to overthinking.
[00:22:21] So keep that in mind with Jupiter's more energy. Uh, I'm personally taking Sunday as vacation time for my brain.
[00:22:29] of vacation, but the kind where you explore and learn new things. I expect this grand trying to be stimulating, but in a fun and somewhat chill way. And if you have a lot of air in your chart, Get ready to vibe. A few quick notes on signs here. Venus in Libra is diplomatic graceful, charming and magnetic in a way that gets people cooperating and collaborating.
[00:22:53] She's supportive of compromise and harmonious management and coordination of diverse elements. Venus in Libra is basically the kind of boss we want to be. You may lead a team to glory in the week, following this grand trine. You may invent something Venusian and beautiful. Thanks to all the air element energy, lots of opportunities here. Jupiter and Gemini expands possibilities, initiate and maintain dialogue and communication. Foster's hope and optimism investigates to find the truth with a capital T and can be kind of gossipy.
[00:23:30] So look out for that. This is all even more supportive of great group work while maintaining our boundaries. Of course. And finally the moon in Aquarius accepts X centricity and nurtures by sharing a strong and powerful vision. She mothers in a nonconforming and rebellious way. Again, quite supportive of leadership and teamwork, very social, very innovative and playful. Good stuff. Okay. Time for a quick recap. Today Wednesday, we have a mercury Mar sextile that gives us a huge boost of focused energy and courage to do the hard things. Tomorrow Thursday, the 12th, we've got a sun Jupiter square that adds fuel to our fire and a super supportive, as long as we don't overdo it. And then on Sunday, we have a grand trine between Venus Jupiter and the moon that radiates energies of fun, Goodwill and play across our entire weekend and into next week.
[00:24:28] As we wrap up here, I wanted to share a quick note about the upcoming eclipse next week on Tuesday. We've got a lunar eclipse in Pisces ramping up. And the reason I bring it up now is because eclipses have a pretty significant blast radius of energy. You're probably already feeling it. It's going to start stirring up feelings.
