MBC Episode 6
===
[00:00:00] Hello, spirit led business friends, it's Azara, your soul centered business coach and mystical demystifier of all things esoteric and financially gainful. Welcome to the Mystical Business Coach Podcast, where I share the most impactful mystical tools like astrology and tarot to make planning and running your business more magical, more lucrative, and most importantly, more fun.
[00:00:28] This week's astrological landscape is filled with moments of clarity. Uh, some challenges that may shake you up a little bit and opportunities to realign with your deepest intentions. The energy this week is anchored in Mercury, which it oftentimes is, right? Mercury plays a huge role in our day to day lives, and Mercury is stationed direct, thank goodness, in Virgo, giving us very clear mental focus.
[00:00:57] However, this clarity is going to be put to the test this week, especially as we navigate some intense squares involving Mars, Neptune, and Uranus. But don't worry, each challenge is an invitation to deepen your understanding of who you are as a soul centered entrepreneur and strengthen your resolve to run the crap out of your business.
[00:01:18] Also, super pumped, there are a couple of different transits that involve Saturn this week. And Saturn is my favorite. I know everyone loves to hate Saturn. I am someone who feels quite the opposite. So you're going to see a little bit more about why as we get deeper into the episode. And by the end of this week, you will have the chance to harness the lessons that you learned, especially, as the sun opposes Saturn.
[00:01:46] Yay. Uh, I mean, Complicated, but Saturn, yay. Revealing the tension between your will to make it on your own with your business and external structures of power and oppression. That's really, really heavy, right? But let me share something with you. We'll get into this later, but Saturn never presents a challenge that you can't overcome, and Saturn wants you to learn from how you move through those challenges.
[00:02:12] And this is a really important one. So let's walk through these transits with intention today and explore how we can use them as tools to support both your personal growth and your business goals. Okay, let's get started. Let's get into it. On Monday, September 2nd, at 9. 47am Eastern, and that's 6. 47am Pacific Time, Mercury is going to trine Chiron.
[00:02:38] Mercury is going to be at 22 degrees and 56 minutes of Leo, and Chiron will be at 22 degrees and 56 minutes of Aries. And this Leo Aries fire backdrop, lends an energetic kind of get it done, watch me shine energy that I just love for this transit. Uh, this transit's relatively frequent, and it shines a clarifying light on us and asks us to do work to heal ourselves.
[00:03:07] And by extension, our businesses, or on the other hand, it might assist us in doing some problem solving in our businesses, which by extension gives us more space for personal joy and calm. It's worth mentioning that I spend a lot of time on this podcast talking about how astrological transits affect our personal feelings and emotions and capacities.
[00:03:30] So if you've been asking, what does that have to do with my business? The answer is. What's interesting is that this podcast is designed for people like me who didn't go out and get a bunch of investors to build a giant team and launch a unicorn startup. We're bootstrapping and we pursue entrepreneurship in large part as a means of self expression.
[00:03:55] It's about money, obviously. And I know I'm, Absolutely finish with letting a manager determine what my earning capacity is like, we're not doing that anymore, but it's also about fulfillment and self actualization. Can we earn money and feel good at the same time? It's a tough question. My business's mission is a direct extension of my own personal mission.
[00:04:22] The product that I sell is. Also, a direct extension of my personal passions and quite frankly, my obsessions, and the energy that I bring to my business is a direct product of what's happening in my personal life because I am absolutely terrible at compartmentalization. Disastrous. Uh, and I know I'm not alone there, and also because my business is my life in so many ways.
[00:04:48] My business and my life are completely interwoven. And so when Mercury trines Chiron and gives me an focus on healing, thanks to Chiron's involvement, that healing hits both sides of my life, inevitably. Even if my ability to problem solve results in a healed friendship. I have. Or better support of my child as he goes through a really tough time.
[00:05:12] The good that comes from that will flow into more energy in my day to day work. More restfulness, yeah, more focus, a greater feeling of stability. All those really wonderful things that kind of serve both sides. When my business does well, because I've been problem solving there, it brings me peace.
[00:05:33] It brings me peace of mind. that I carry into my personal relationships. It gives me peace in my spirit. It helps me feel grounded and centered. It really goes both ways. So, uh, Mercury trining Chiron. Mercury is our mind and is absolutely vibing with Chiron thanks to the trining aspect that we're taking a look at here.
[00:05:54] And Chiron deals with wounding and healing. This is an excellent time. to focus on a problem you're encountering and just get to the bottom of it. Your curiosity can be your guide here. It's going to guide you forward and the Leo Aries signs this transit is taking place in are going to add additional fuel to your fire to get this sorted out.
[00:06:16] So whip out your magnifying glass and Figure something out and then bask in that glow that permeates your whole being after you have really checked something off of your list that's probably been frustrating or annoying you for a long time. All right, let's move to our next transit. It's the new moon in Virgo. It happens about 12 hours later. On that same day. So that's 9 56 PM Eastern or 6 56 PM Pacific time on Monday, September 2nd. And at that moment, a powerful sun moon conjunction is going to reach exactitude at 11 degrees and four minutes of Virgo.
[00:06:56] When the moon and the sun sit right on top of each other, we get a new moon, a moment for manifestation. The moon in Virgo Helps us nurture in a practical way and I can already hear your wheels turning when I say that about the potential dangers of responding to someone's emotional distress with practical problem solving, right? What does nurturing someone in a practical way mean? What does that look like?
[00:07:24] It's a little tricky. This is an extremely Virgo approach to helping someone who comes to you with a problem. It's very earth sign that frequently gets mistaken for air sign kind of energy, and it works great when you're trying to comfort some people, and absolutely terribly when you're trying to provide support to others.
[00:07:44] So let me overshare about my private life for a hot second and tell you that over the past couple of months of struggle within my extended family, it's become crystal clear to me that a really critical cornerstone of my relationship with my partner is the fact that we both respond really well to a mix of emotional and strategic support when we are encountering a big, challenging, sticky emotional problem.
[00:08:11] It's about hugs. And then a brainstorming session. And then maybe some more hugs if there's still a lot of big feelings going on. You know, and that's not what everybody's looking for. When they come to us with a big problem, some people actually hate hearing a wall of possible solutions, and all they really need is a shoulder to cry on and a reaffirmation of your love.
[00:08:33] They need to hear you say, you know, I'm here for you over and over again, and might actually get frustrated or even see you as unfeeling. If you jump in with, well, you know, maybe you should try X or Y, or have you said blank to whoever, you know, uh, anything to try to really, Solve that problem in that moment.
[00:08:51] And this is a big issue for those of us contending with neuro spiciness. I have ADHD and super masked up autism. And as someone who struggles in the face of other people's emotions, where I just get very overwhelmed, I can completely shut down if someone's having a tough time emotionally. The irony is the more help and comfort they need.
[00:09:15] The harder it is for me to look them in the eyes, literally, eye contact becomes very challenging for me when someone's having a really tough time and using my logic brain actually helps me keep their feelings at bay and I can switch into let me fix it for you mode without even realizing it as a protective measure for myself.
[00:09:37] So if your instinct, like me, is to shield yourself from someone else's gooey, sticky emotions by offering solutions, the new moon in Virgo is actually giving us a chance to manifest our most supportive, And problem solving selves, finding that balance. This is especially important in professional settings, right?
[00:09:58] We want to be able to meet anyone who's coming to us with a problem, whether that's a partner, a collaborator, a client. We want to be able to extend emotional support while we are also providing practical solutions and strategies. Oftentimes that's what they're paying us for. I know that's a huge part of my job as a coach.
[00:10:20] And so during this time of the new moon in Virgo, we should expect ourselves and others to take extra comfort in finding solutions, which is great for those of us where that's what we snap into, problem solving mode, and especially in the context of Monday morning's Mercury Chiron trine, which is all about that exactly, finding and fixing problems.
[00:10:44] And Virgo. The sign of the new moon is ruled by the planet Mercury. So Monday is very mercurial and very much geared towards enabling you to use your critical thinking skills to navigate whatever troubles you may be facing, or those you love are facing, or those who you support are facing. Word to the wise, watch out for falling too deeply into the trap of our socially constructed, like, traditionalist archetype of the mother this week.
[00:11:12] And I say that as a mom myself. This new moon in Virgo creates a time where caretaking can easily tip over into an overly structured ideal. And the result is more annoying than comforting when we start to snap into fussiness and being overbearing and really overdoing the I'm a caring mom kind of thing.
[00:11:37] So instead of snapping into mom mode, aim for supporting others and yourself in feeling stable and secure through being a detail oriented scientist and getting to the bottom of things. And of course, that all comes along with a healthy sprinkling of hugs and really good listening. All right, next up, we've got A doozy.
[00:11:59] It is a Mars Neptune square, and it hits exactitude at 1210 a. m. Tuesday in the early, early morning Eastern time. And for folks further west in the U. S., this is actually taking place the night before, on Monday night. Mars is going to be at 29 degrees exactly of Gemini, and Neptune will be at 29 degrees and 0 minutes of Pisces.
[00:12:24] This transit asks you to examine what happens when your actions have not been aligned with your vision for the future. And unfortunately, this is probably happening to you now or has happened to you in your business with so many distractions and responsibilities and so much input from other random people flying at you at all times.
[00:12:44] This is a huge problem in business. Transcribed And even more unfortunately, there are usually pretty serious consequences of aiming your actions in the wrong direction and drawing momentum away from your progress in your business. So I want to ask you, what is your vision for the future?
[00:13:01] And that's what Neptune wants us to focus on too. But it's not always so easy. Have you been behaving in ways that don't function to bring that future about? Have you perhaps been behaving in ways that are specifically stymie ing your advance, uh, towards your dreams and ultimate desires? And could it be that this is happening because you may be in a state of confusion about what your goals even are anymore?
[00:13:26] I know that happens to me. This transit can have you asking, What am I even doing with my life? And it can amplify the critical voices in your personal or familial peanut gallery, or even the ones in your head who are saying, What you're going about this whole business thing all wrong, or even, you know, why are you doing this business?
[00:13:44] Why don't you just find a stable job and that can get right under your skin and slow you down. This Neptunian style of foggy confusion is absolute kryptonite to Mars, who normally pushes us to charge forward with conviction and without question. And the risk you run with slowing down your Mars is not being able to really get yourself started back up again, especially when Neptune is involved.
[00:14:07] The energy of the Mars Neptune Square is one of the most potentially deadly to your business. So what do you do protect your energy to honor Mars and get clear on your dreams to honor Neptune.
[00:14:20] You might feel really tired around this time, and while you should do your best to keep moving, don't strain yourself. Get rest and take the time to reconnect with your vision. Maybe it's the same. Maybe it's changed. That's really important to figure out. And be extra sure to tell anyone trying to pull you off your path with negativity to get bent.
[00:14:40] when someone is crapping on your dreams, it usually comes from their own insecurities and you are not responsible for those. So do not take responsibility for them. And also just FYI, this is a really bad time to lie. In general, obviously try not to be deceitful, but especially not around this transit, which tends to make sure that any acts of deceit committed will come back in the form of serious consequences very quickly.
[00:15:05] We call it karma. Okay, she's for real. And next up, here it is, our final Mercury Uranus square. In this very unfortunate series of three we've experienced in rapid succession since July 21st, which was my birthday, awesome. And this final square in the trio is taking place much later in the week, uh, on Saturday the 7th, which is kind of nice, right?
[00:15:31] We've got this big chunk of time in between, the new moon and this really intense Mars Neptune square. We have a little bit of a buffer time where things can be kind of quiet and chill. Super nice. And then on Saturday the 7th at 1221 a. m. Eastern time. So Friday night for anyone in the U.
[00:15:50] S. who is Central, Mountain, or Pacific time, Mercury will be at 27 degrees and 15 minutes of Leo, squaring Uranus at 27 degrees and 15 minutes of Taurus. So by now you are unfortunately used to the feeling of nervous system dysregulation this transit brings about. But just as a reminder, just like the last couple of times, brace for anxiety.
[00:16:12] Unlike the last of these transits, which took place on August 18th, this time Mercury is stationed direct as opposed to retrograde. So we don't have Mercury in retrograde making things worse, but it's still a pretty tough transit to weather. Mercury is your intellection, and Uranus is your spark. And so when your mind is forming a square or experiencing conflict with your nervous system, you can get swept up in anxious thoughts, paranoia, obsession, avoidance, all the fun things that impact our ability to get our work done in a calm and grounded way.
[00:16:47] Flexibility is the key to turning a challenging transit into a benefit. No matter what. You're going to feel stimulated. And whether that stimulation results in anxiety or in curiosity, that entirely depends on your ability to roll with disruptions, surprises, and plans falling apart. So here's an action for you to take.
[00:17:07] Double check your work this week. If you get swept up in the rapid fire, nerve jangling way your ideas might be flying at you on Saturday, there's a good chance you're going to be a little scatterbrained and messy as you work through whatever's on your plate. So, just make an extra effort to go back over anything you produce, especially towards the end of the week around Saturday, and especially, especially if your work is audience or client facing and needs to look polished.
[00:17:32] Because you can get a little scrambled during this time, and it's really important to just take a look back and make sure that it's not just complete gibberish that you were writing while you were under the influence of this transit.
[00:17:44] And then on Sunday, the sun in Virgo, the moon in Scorpio, and Saturn in Pisces will perform a little bit of a dance around each other. And it's going to create some big obstacles, but also perhaps the tools to navigate them and to come out
[00:18:00] having learned something important. So, at 1235 a. m. Eastern on Sunday, not sure why all of these transits are taking place around the same time of day, but there we go. 1235 a. m. Eastern on Sunday, the 8th of September. So it's the night of Saturday the seventh for those further west on my landmass and the landmass to the south of my landmass.
[00:18:22] The sun at 16 degrees and two minutes of Virgo will oppose Saturn who sits at 16 degrees and two minutes of Pisces when the sun. Which governs your will, runs into conflict with Saturn, the planet that rules social structures and externally imposed limits. You might feel like your growth is being stifled by forces beyond your control.
[00:18:45] And oppositions usually involve some sort of external element that is in us. Uh, so hence the fact that we generally view oppositions as a pretty rough moment. So there is nothing as frustrating as feeling trapped by your reality. The hopelessness that we experience when we are blocked by forces or circumstances that are outside of our control can quite literally destroy your business.
[00:19:11] That hopelessness can drain all the energy out of your momentum by making you feel like none of it matters. Like no matter what you're fighting against obstacles that are just way too big to overcome. This makes me think of those of us who became entrepreneurs after slamming into the glass ceiling that keeps people with marginalized identities, whether claimed or imposed or both, , that keeps us from ascending corporate ranks or even just getting fair and proper recognition for the role we over perform in every single day.
[00:19:41] It sucks. It's incredibly unfair. And it's a constant reminder that the world is not built to benefit us, but to extract labor from our bodies and minds and focus the money and resources generated by our labor amongst a tiny group of sociopathic empathy deficient assholes. It's a huge fucking existential bummer.
[00:20:04] Now, socially, this transit can make you feel out of sync with other people. And this can include your co workers, your audience, or your family and friends, or, you know, all of humanity, casual, it makes you feel very isolated. You might struggle to communicate, not because your thinking is disordered, but because that feeling that there's a chasm between you and whoever you're trying to communicate with might shake you and make it hard to even try.
[00:20:32] So in short, this transit makes the limitations imposed by the other. What is outside ourselves feel way too big, and your number one job is to not let that slow you down. Are you holding on to fear of the futility of even trying to achieve your dreams? Same. Honestly, it's really hard not to feel that way.
[00:20:57] That fear can completely shut down your will to go on in your business, because why bother if the world is horrible and people are horrible and nothing is ever going to change? That's what we tell ourselves.
[00:21:08] When you're trapped in those thoughts, I challenge you to look to your ancestors, whether you're looking to your blood relatives predecessors, those who fought inequity before us. And remind yourself of just what can be accomplished in the face of overwhelmingly poor odds, like entire socio economic systems developed specifically to hold them back and keep them chained, whether figuratively or unfortunately, literally.
[00:21:38] Let me share an important charm with you. Saturn does not provide us challenges for no reason. There is something incredibly important to learn here and to remember and to internalize. Our ancestors fought and died for us to have more freedom, more safety and more opportunity than they did. And while we absolutely cannot take responsibility for the systemic discrimination that is perpetrated against us, we can take inspiration from previous generations to get creative, to find solutions, and most importantly, to keep moving forward.
[00:22:11] You are your ancestor's wildest dream. So keep dreaming. Also, I definitely cried a little when I made notes to myself on this transit, because I am deeply moved by the fact that when my ancestors peer through the veil to check in on me, they celebrate at what I've been able to accomplish and how I've been able to live, and they rejoice every time I take a break, I eat a piece of chocolate, I vote, and I celebrate.
[00:22:37] I love a person of a different skin color. I provide a good, stable life for my child. All of what I am and have is only possible because they struggled to overcome impossible odds. And I'm honored to carry on that legacy. And you're carrying it on too. And that's really big and important.
[00:22:58] All right, let's keep it moving. Nine hours after Saturn opposes the sun, it'll form a much easier transit, a lovely trine to the moon. This is exact at 937 a. m.
[00:23:11] Eastern, when the moon will be at 16 degrees exactly of Scorpio and Saturn at 16 degrees of Pisces. Whereas the sun rules our will, the moon governs our emotions. And this trine gives us an excellent tool to use to navigate that challenging sun saturn opposition. This moon saturn trine gives us extra support in regulating our emotions.
[00:23:35] We get a boost to our self control and our ability to think and act in a calm, thoughtful, and measured way. Thank you, Saturn. We're really seeing Saturn's supportive side in this beautiful transit. We feel empowered and comforted by that power, which is the perfect antidote to the pressure Saturn is putting on the Sun, our will, which threatens to disempower us.
[00:23:59] A couple of interesting things about this transit. It is supportive of both figuring out problems on your own, And also seeking help from experienced people in your life. So this is a perfect moment to reach out to a mentor, especially if you're starting to feel overwhelmed by hopelessness or a sense of futility.
[00:24:15] Also, this Saturn Moon trine gets us looking to the past to solve present problems. Remember what I just said about the Sun Saturn opposition and how the best way to move past a feeling of futility is to look back at the revolutionary accomplishments of those who came before us? This trine is perfect for seeking strength and security by looking to the ones whose shoulders you're standing on.
[00:24:38] And then less than half an hour after the Saturn Moon trine reaches exactitude, we've got a Sun Moon sextile, which is a cool transit in that it also heralds the exactitude of the waxing crescent moon. This takes place at 1029 a. m. Eastern, 729 a. m. Pacific, with the moon at 16 degrees and 26 minutes of Scorpio and the sun at 16 degrees and 26 minutes of Virgo.
[00:25:05] The sun, our will, is harmonizing with the moon, our emotions, to create a state of harmony that glows within us and has the potential to emanate outward. This transit is amazing for in person client work like coaching sessions and any other kinds of collaborative work that you do in your practice. It definitely supports reaching out to a mentor as well, to ask for guidance and for advice.
[00:25:32] In general, It will help you move past feelings of hopelessness by making it easier for you to look to your colleagues, friends, family, and broader community for support and joy, all because you're more able to tap into ease within yourself. This is also an awesome time to get on your biggest marketing platform and just vibe.
[00:25:51] Your magnetism will have an extra boost of energy and an extra good chance of drawing people's eyes to you, supported by Saturn's collective energy, as what we call a social planet, or a planet that deals with bigger concepts and structures outside of our individual egos and our little kind of day to day lives.
[00:26:09] No matter how you do it, use this time to nurture your relationships and build on the harmonious connectivity that this transit brings. Okay, so that's it for the transits this week. Let's do a quick recap. This week is a journey through both challenges and opportunities, as most are, and each transit is going to offer us a lesson or a tool To help you navigate your path with greater clarity and intention.
[00:26:34] So here they are one more time. On Monday, September 2nd, we've got Mercury Trine Chiron, which encourages you to address deep seated issues with curiosity and problem solving, offering a pathway to healing in both your personal life and in your business. So take time to reflect and identify a problem to solve and then solve it.
[00:26:55] On the same day, the new moon in Virgo supports nurturing in a practical way and support of others or ourselves through care and problem solving. And remember that offering solutions is only one piece of the puzzle here.
[00:27:07] When you're offering someone support, hugs and understanding are really important too. On Tuesday, September 3rd, a Mars Neptune square is going to challenge your momentum and ask you to ensure that your actions are aligned with your vision. So take a moment to reassess your direction and refocus on your goals or perhaps refocus your goals themselves to better reflect your dreams and your true vision of the future.
[00:27:33] On Saturday, September 7th, much later in the week, a Mercury Uranus Square brings mental tension and the potential for anxious thoughts, making flexibility and mindfulness key. Double check your work to manage this energy effectively.
[00:27:49] On Sunday, September 8th, we have a powerful trio of interrelated transits. First, a Sun Saturn opposition highlights the external obstacles and limiting power structures around you and asks you to use creativity and patience to overcome them. Reflect on the lessons you can learn from your predecessors to maintain your momentum.
[00:28:11] Then, a Moon Saturn trine provides emotional stability and encourages you to seek wisdom from mentors and past experiences. Reach out for guidance or reflect on how your past has prepared you for today's challenges. And finally, a gorgeous sun moon sextile fosters harmony between your will and your emotions, making it an ideal time for collaboration and authentic connection.
[00:28:34] Focus on nurturing your relationships and building on this positive energy and maybe do some grandstanding on your primary marketing platform to capitalize on the extra boost to your magnetism.
