[00:00:00] Hello, spirit led business friends. It's Zahra, your soul centered business coach and mystical. Demystifier all things esoteric and financially gainful.
[00:00:11] Welcome to the mystical business coach podcast, where I share the most impactful mystical tools like astrology and taro. Uh, to make planning and running your business more magical, more lucrative, and most importantly, more fun. All right before we get down to this, week's transmits. I want to talk again a little bit about the transiting moon. And why most astrologers don't cover the orbit of the moon transit by transit.
[00:00:37] So when you first start listening to podcasts or getting, weekly emails from astrologers who cover weekly transits, you may assume that the moon just like isn't doing that much because you don't hear about it too often, but that is the opposite of the truth.
[00:00:52] The moon is always up to something or a lot of some things over the course of a day. And sure there is the occasional open 24 hours where the moon's not really doing much, but that is very rare. The moon is earth satellite. It's super, super close to earth compared to other celestial bodies. And it moves at a pretty good clip.
[00:01:10] So it travels through our sky, the sky from our earthbound perspective, incredibly quickly, compared to planets and asteroids. So it is tough to track the moon's transits because they happen almost every day. And there are usually more than one. They are continuous and it's hard to figure out how all these fleeting transits can actually impact our lives.
[00:01:31] So my tendency is to focus on the biggies. Full moons, new moons. Of course. Uh, waning and waxing half moons. When I feel like it. And any lunar transit, but interacts with planetary transits in a really big way. If, and when I catch it, it's just too much. Otherwise. The moon has too much going on unless you are able to somehow. Find, uh, some software or a system for mapping out its activity, which is something that I'm actually working on and sort of in the background. Um, but I. You know, I really don't do it for weekly transits. Uh, reviews.
[00:02:05] So today I'm going to talk about the fury of activity taking place on the full moon in Aquarius on Monday, August 19th. And part of that is an examination of the transit that makes the full moon happen. The sun opposing the moon. Let's talk about the full moon sun opposition. This is the key positioning that makes the full moon happen. It is always the case that the full moon opposes the sun because it's that opposition that allows us to see the moon as full.
[00:02:37] And what's more when we study the moon's transits with the sun, we're actually studying the angles that dictate the moon's phases. Which is super cool to think about. So when we have half-moon. The moon is actually forming a square to the sun. Every time. The gibbous and Crescent, moons, and counter a moment where they experience a trine and a sextile to the sun, respectively. Uh, and so to be more clear, the cycle is. The full moon opposes the sun. The waning gibbous passes through a trine with the sun. The waning half moon squares, the sun. The waning Crescent, moon passes through a sextile with the sun. The new moon can joins the sun. The waxing Crescent, Ben. Passes through a sextile with the sun, just like it did with the waning Crescent. The waxing half moon squares, the sun, again, like the waning half man. And the waxing gibbous moon moves through a trine with a son, just like the waning gibbous and then we're back at the full moon opposing the sun. To say it even more simply. For transits with the sun. Full moons of posts. Give us moon's trine. Halfman square. Crescent moons, sextile and new moons can join.
[00:03:53] It's a beautiful pattern. And I know my fellow air sign heavy natal chart bays are grooving on the structure right now. Astrology is all about patterns and math and geometry. And this is one of the most fun parts right here. All right. Let's shift to this. Week's transits. Brace yourself because there is so much going on on Monday. A full moon and two T squares with the moon, the sun and Uranus. And Venus and Jupiter and Saturn. And mercury is kind of hanging out, like randomly in the mix.
[00:04:29] It's a bunch of stuff. So let's jump in.
[00:04:33] So the moon is opposing the sun because that's how full moons do on Monday. That's what's happening. The moon sun opposition creates a dissonance between your emotional landscape ruled by the moon and your will ruled by the sun. It's very internal. This is why we work. Uh, we work on release. During the full moon. In part it's work to release the internal tensions that trip us up. This is also a time for launching releasing our content into the world.
[00:05:02] It's lovely. And it's coming up on Monday. So let's talk about the full moon in Aquarius. Aquarius is . Michael sine that I associate with a flow of pure energy. Aquarius is actually not a water sign, despite the fact that it is known as the water carrier, it's actually an air sign. So maybe the water pot is carrying problem-solving energy and ideas because Aquarius is always trying to get us to find a better way.
[00:05:28] And it's driven by a desire to bring into being the highest good for all. Aquarius is also eccentric, visionary non-conforming, uh, and as, uh, an Aquarius rising myself, I feel how important this energy. He is for myself as a deeply non-conforming independent business person. This full moon supports you in pursuit of your most radical vision for the future.
[00:05:54] And in taking pride in your boldest ideas. It reminds us not to be afraid to meet our needs and the needs of our communities through rebellious behavior, because we must upset systems of inequity to create a better world. This is radical and amazing energy, but it's also a heavy load to bear. You may have feelings you need to release around this facilitated by that big, beautiful, full moon. In your business, this might look like rest. It might look like sharing on your platform and getting some things off of your chest.
[00:06:25] It might mean a launch of some kind, because launches again are highly supported under the full moon. But before you decide how to use the moon's energy, let's talk about the other transits that are directly interacting with it's this full moons opposition to the sun on Monday. So here we go. Y'all. Okay.
[00:06:44] Let's examine the sun moon Uranus T square with some mercury involvement going down on the day of the full moon. Again, Monday the 19th. So at 1230, 2:00 PM Eastern time, the moon will oppose mercury. With the moon at 26 degrees and five. Uh, minutes of Aquarius and mercury at 26 degrees and five minutes of Leo, keep us in the back of your mind because we're going to circle back to it.
[00:07:11] But for right now, we're back burnering, mercury, and you're going to see why with everything else going on. So there's some mercury stuff going on a little, a little earlier in the day, mid day, the real fun starts at 12:45 PM. Eastern. When the sun in Leo will square Uranus in Taurus, and I'm not going to keep doing the degrees.
[00:07:27] It's just too much. You could find them in the show notes. Uh, and then at 2:19 PM Eastern, the moon in Aquarius will square Uranus in Taurus. And finally at 2:26 PM Eastern, this is all happening. Very close together. The full moon in Aquarius finally reaches exactitude and its opposition to the sun in Leo. So all of this is happening within a less than two hour long window. These are tight transits forming, a special shape called the T-square.
[00:07:56] So as the moon opposes the sun Uranus forms a square to both of them. They're kind of creating a triangle and it's an isosceles triangle to be exact. Uh, which you remember from grade schools, geometry. meaning. A triangle with two sides that are of equal length. And of course in reality, Those legs are not of equal length because planets vary wildly in distance from each other.
[00:08:19] But that's what it looks like when we're taking a look at a chart. And this is also a right triangle, meaning that the meeting of the imaginary lines were baking from the moon to Uranus. from the sun to Uranus, those lines are forming a 90 degree angle where they meet. And in astrology, we call this a T square and it's very neat and very geometrically pleasing.
[00:08:41] If you were to draw a line from that right angle point. Where Uranus is sitting, if you drew that line so that it hit, the line that the. Moon's son opposition is making. And it hits it perpendicularly. That is the T shape that we're talking about here. It's a little tough to envision. Um, but essentially that T shape. Uh, you know, on either side of that line coming up from Uranus, um, it's creating to 90 degree angles. next to each other.
[00:09:14] And so that's where that. Terminology comes from, but I like to think of it more as a triangle. Okay. Let's interpret this loaded. T-square. Uranus rules, our nervous system. And when it's forming a square, we are potentially in a state of crisis. Fight or flight style. So we've got a jittery and even explosive moderator for this moon sun opposition, which yikes. Right.
[00:09:39] That's potentially not great. Uh, moon you're in a square. Indicates conflict between your emotions and your nervous system. So it creates surprising upsets to your emotional equilibrium. That lead to being contrarian and confrontational and like kind of be in a Dick. And this can also lead to stimulation, chasing and a desire to be wild.
[00:10:00] And it sort of sets off that rebelliousness of the full moon in Aquarius. And then a sun Uranus square. Uh, as opposed to, we just talked about moon, moon. Moon Uranus. Now we're talking about sun Uranus. That's square indicates a conflict between your will. And your nervous system. So with the moon, we were talking about your emotions. And now we're talking about your will and your nervous system.
[00:10:22] This is super disruptive energy and can lead to sudden upset and anger and even behavior that upsets other people, including arguments and the breaking down of like your daily routines. And. You know, likely all of these issues are caused by you yourself making intentionally disruptive choices. So let's try to avoid that. Um, there's a lot going on here.
[00:10:45] A lot of nervous unsettled energy that makes us restless and kind of weird. And explosive and very emotional. But I say the best thing to do here is to just let your restless spirit launder. So maybe the disruption to your routine is a good thing. Maybe you're actually making a good choice, even just trying to shake things up and it'll lead to better ideas, more fun, more efficiency, or a new or better structure. Just try to stay aware of how your actions, especially the bizarre ones are impacting others around you. And we've got mercury hanging around too, right?
[00:11:21] As if things weren't complex enough. And here mercury is kind of like our poor little mind running around, trying to stay organized and keep his shit together while being so bold as to oppose the full moon, which is our rebellious uncontainable emotional state. Mamoon also trying some ares for supportive action earlier in the day.
[00:11:39] And sextiles Kyron for healing. Also in the morning, it's so much, and I'm about to add more to it. On that very same Monday, August 19th. Jupiter is forming a T-square to Venus and Saturn. So this is our second T-square taking place across the whole expanse of the day. So it's definitely looser than the sun moon Uranus one where it was taking a course. Over, just a couple of hours, like maybe even an hour and a half.
[00:12:11] This is a little bit more of like a loose T square. So this new T square that we're talking about now begins at 1:53 AM Eastern. So technically the first part of this transit might be reaching exactitude on Sunday night for mountain and Pacific time folk in the us. But I'm going to take advantage of the fact that for me, it's all happening same day because it's fun.
[00:12:32] And the nerd in me loves T squares. So at 1:53 AM Eastern Venus and Virgo will square Jupiter and Gemini. Then at 4:30 AM Eastern Venus in Virgo will oppose Saturn in Pisces and finally at 5:46 PM. Eastern Jupiter and Gemini will square Saturn in Pisces. Okay. What does this mean? Let's think back to our triangle earlier where Uranus was at the point at the right angle and the sun and moon were the other two points of the triangle in opposition to each other. For this new T square Jupiter is at that right angle and Venus and Saturn are the two planets in opposition. Let's talk about interpreting this complicated cluster. Jupiter and Venus vibe, super hard. Jupiter is about good fortune and good times and expansion and hanging out and Venus is about love and values and meaningful social connection.
[00:13:27] So they bring positive vibes to the table, even in the square shaped transit they're forming on Monday, which is super rad. But Saturn and Jupiter. Don't have a friendly relationship. The planet of expansion enjoy Jupiter, meets the planet of order contraction and discipline. Jupiter square with Venus creates overflowing good vibes that boost your desire to go out and play.
[00:13:53] But Jupiter square with Saturn creates overflowing control issues and feelings of guilt at abandoning your work. They're in direct conflict. Uh, Jupiter, Saturn square also yields the potential for a new venture, which is great. And it's generally supportive of getting excellent focus, work done. But not with Venus tuck, you get your sleeve with a cocktail and you're going out shoes in her hand. Those two squares conflict with each other in a pretty direct way.
[00:14:18] And another way to shine light on this conflict is by examining Venus's opposition to Saturn here. Now Venus opposite. Saturn makes four strongly conflicting, confusing energy. It is a transit that is incredibly unfavorable to Venus, unfortunately, because Saturn is a buzzkill and is basically here to harsh the vibe. square is often associated with Saturn, uh, and similarly brings super downer vibes to the party. Duty and discipline stand on one side in direct conflict with your desire to enjoy yourself and connect with others. At Jupiter to the mix and you've got uncertainty, caution, and guilt. And an instinct to pull away from others.
[00:15:00] That's Jupiter plus Saturn. In a square. Opposite big amplified fun. That draws us to connect with others. Thanks to Jupiter with Venus making a square. So, what we're looking at is an opposition or a significant disagreement between Venus and Saturn, which is being. Perhaps tempered. Perhaps moderated or due to its nature, perhaps amplified. By Jupiter.
[00:15:25] So watch out because this conflict of interest between your fun self and your serious self might lead to resentment. And self-pity, if your fun gets spoiled by Saturn and you decide to forgo partying with Venus and Jupiter. Here. We have a moment where we need to do our best to find a balance between the indulgence of Venus and the restriction of Saturn with Jupiter, just sitting there, heaping fuel on the fire.
[00:15:48] Compromise is the solution here as it generally is with squares. Can you get some good focus, work done, and then go play. Then you'll have an even better time knowing that you were able to get something important off your plate. Another option here is to allow your intuition to lead you. You may be someone who tends more towards the Venus or more towards Saturn, neither is wrong and both are okay to explore.
[00:16:09] If you lean towards Venus, then just be sure to give Saturn a token. Get a task that's been burning on your list done before you go make Mary. If you tend more towards Saturn like me, then give Venus a token. Take care of yourself. Take a break, take a breath, take a walk. Talk to your best friend, call your mom to say, I love you. Giving us a token. Okay.
[00:16:32] What do we do with all of this stuff? That's happening on Monday? The revolutionary full moon is calling us to release the pressure of having lofty ideals in our business. We can react to this in ways that are upsetting to ourselves and others, or we can chase stimulation with this Uranus energy compounding the full moon, sun opposition, Venus, and Jupiter want to play and have fun.
[00:16:54] And Saturn is feeling super grumpy about it and just wants us to get our shit done. We need to release our conviction, that it has to be one way or the other fun or work. Glowing excitement or jittery Uranus nerves. This full moon, presides over some serious oppositions. And our job is to find the right middle pathway for ourselves. I recommend taking a look at how these transits hit your natal chart.
[00:17:18] If that's something you know how to do, because there will be further charms and warnings there for you to take note of and no matter what, please be kind to yourself on Monday. And if it gets overwhelming, give yourself permission to care for yourself. Whether that looks like taking a nap for you or going out to blow off steam. Okay.
[00:17:37] After Monday, we get a couple of days of relief where nothing is happening and we have time to work through those T squares. And then it's Thursday the 22nd. And what if we got another square? God help us this time. It's a venous Mar square where Venus is at 22 degrees in eight minutes of Virgo. And Mars is at 22 degrees and eight minutes of Gemini.
[00:17:58] So my cliff notes version for this transit is that our desire for ease and accommodation of others, conflicts with our. Drive to be self assertive. This is a transit that is about boundaries. Cue the groans I'm right there with you. Boundaries are really hard. They are so tricky because they can be too weak or porous, which is a . problem. And we ended up doing whatever other people want and being whatever they want us to be. Or on the other hand, boundaries can done end up being too rigid, which is a Martian problem. And we wind up shutting people out and making choices purely based on our own wants and needs without taking others into consideration and shutting everybody out, which is no way to live. Compromise is helpful with this transit.
[00:18:43] Uh, again, as is generally the case with tricky squares, the middle ground means healthy boundaries. You may find towards the end of the week that distractions are pulling your attention away from your work, whether that's friends or caretaking, or perhaps your day job, if you're an entrepreneur on the side. And when we're being pulled away from our work to go care for others, we may wind up consistently neglecting ourselves and our needs.
[00:19:06] Or we say, no, dammit. I have to work and shut out the people who actually mean the world to us. Take action by examining your boundaries. Are they too flimsy? Have a direct conversation with the stakeholders in the situation to make a plan, ensuring that you have the time and space you need to get stuff done. Are your boundaries too rigid again? Uh, conversation is an order, including a discussion of how you're going to plan your time to ensure that you get work done, but also have time and space for your kids or your partner or whomever else.
[00:19:36] You've been shutting out. Being an entrepreneur is hard for a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest is how tough it is to strike a balance between staying on task. When a million people need you for something and keeping work from completely taking over your life. And finally with that. We move out of the minefield of squares.
[00:19:57] And on Friday we get the first of a couple nice supportive transits to ease us out of intensity mode. Starting Friday morning and going through Saturday afternoon, mercury, Kyron and Mars are dancing around each other in a lovely set of one trine and two sex tiles. First up at 8:21 AM. Eastern time.
[00:20:15] We've got a trine between mercury and. At 23 degrees and 12 minutes of Leo and Kyron at 23 degrees in 12 minutes of areas, mercury and Kyron often get along great because mercury enjoys ordered thinking and Kyron is an excellent problem solver. This transit supports your sleuthing efforts is something going wrong in your business.
[00:20:36] This is an excellent moment to get out your magnifying glass and get to the bottom of it. In general curiosity is supported here. So let it run absolutely wild. Take action by isolating. Just one problem that you want to solve and doing some research. I know research can sound super dry and boring, but really you're just satisfying your curiosity here. Why is my marketing falling flat right now? Why didn't my recent launch perform as expected. Et cetera.
[00:21:03] Let your curiosity guide you and do that research form a hypothesis and test it. Track what happens and iterate. Test again. Business is certainly part art, but the rest of it is a whole lot of science. Mercury and Kyron want you to be a detective, to be a scientist, to be process oriented and to solve that problem. I've been on Saturday. We have a mercury Mars sextile. At 12:31 AM Eastern.
[00:21:32] So technically Friday for folks further west. Uh, here in the U S. We have mercury at 22 degrees and 48 minutes of Leo forming a sextile with Mars at 22 degrees and 41 minutes of Gemini. This is a moment where you are supported and getting really pumped to work on projects that are your own personal passions.
[00:21:52] But the flip side is that you'll feel extra stifled by having to do work on behalf of others. Passions. This is an especially triggering transit for me, and I'm guessing for other entrepreneurs who are listening to, because most of us fled to entrepreneurship after being utterly crushed by years of working very hard to fulfill the will and desires of other people and just straight up sacrificing our time and talent. Talent and lives to make others dreams come true. Then we probably got to a breaking point and said, that's it.
[00:22:21] I am not wasting any more of my time on someone else. It's time to focus on my vision. Um, the parts of our current work that allow us to do that are so incredibly delicious. And if there are still parts of our current work that do feel like sacrificing our own dream for someone else's. Those can be all the more painful now that we truly understand what it feels like to advance our own life's work. So for Saturday or actually Friday or even Monday, if Saturday is a day, you take off of work. Set a good chunk of time aside to take advantage of the supportive energy you'll experience for advancing your own work. Let yourself revel in the feeling of progressing a project that you are personally invested in and personally excited about. This may also be a good time during which you'll need to convince someone of something and you'll be really good at it. It's a good day or handful of days for landing sales, because you're going to be. Unusually convincing. And you may find yourself in a situation where you need to defend yourself and you are especially supported in standing up for yourself and being met with respect, for sharing your perspective, perspective, and not standing down. Uh, this transit. It's about confidence.
[00:23:34] It's about conviction and pride in your ideas. And your ability to produce results. That's really nice. Our final transit of the week is a healing one. Thank goodness. But it isn't restful. Thanks. Tamara is continuing to function as the driving energy here. So on Saturday, the 24th at 2:34 PM Eastern, just two hours after that.
[00:23:56] Awesome mercury sextile to Mars. Mars is continuing onto sextile Kyron, the asteroid, that rules core wounding and core healing. Thanks to the Sparky supportive energy of the SEC's tile. We do have access to Chiron's healing powers this Saturday, hurray. And the confidence we experienced earlier in the day with Mars and mercury prompts us to roll into a period of healthy, intentional healing. So, what does healing look like here? If we examine healing through the lens of business, we can either be talking about healing ourselves as CEOs, leaders, business owners, or we could be talking about healing our business itself.
[00:24:35] Back on Friday, we did some healing via problem solving with the help of Kyron and mercury, which was very intellectual and head-based. But on Saturday, your healing will be supported by your physicality. Your ego and your passion. So what does passionate healing? With the support of the more embodied planets I E Venus and Mars are healing shifts from like fiddly intellectual problem solving to more physical action.
[00:25:00] Taking with Venus and Kyron. We tend to be supported in resting and showering ourselves with love and gifts. And that's awesome. But with Mars, which is what we're dealing with here, we pursue healing through sort of the opposite it's through taking really direct action. And that can be as simple as moving your body in any way you can, whether it's dancing or taking a walk or fist pumping to some high octane music, or if you feel the pull of this beautiful, energetic sex tile, you can heal by pursuing another passion of yours.
[00:25:30] Whatever gets you riled up. This transit takes place on the weekends. So if Saturday is a day, you take off of work, you see energy on something that isn't work. That's totally allowed, just because I focus on how we can best use these energies to boost our businesses doesn't mean that you can't channel some marsh and energy towards going out and playing, go dancing, have a picnic. Those things are actually key supports to your business, to. Chances are, if you rest and play and take the time to recover from a grueling week, you'll be even sharper for the next one. All right. Big week. Next week, we have a nice, healthy, well spaced out mix of transits to look forward to.
[00:26:07] So while it isn't exactly a time to get amazing rest, it's a bit more chill certainly than our double T-square full moon in Aquarius Monday. Um, take care of you one. And if you want a much tighter version of the weekly transit sent to your inbox, the link to sign up for my mystical briefings newsletter is in the show notes.
[00:26:27] See you next week.
